The ghost had stopped bugging him after that Thursday, so this weekend Moon was getting some welldeserved sleep. Gone to bed early and slept for almost 12 hours every night the whole weekend.

Now he was awake, showered and eating some dumplings and on his second glass of milk when he heard the knocking on the door and Erin's voice.

He wasn't expecting her, but company was nice when it didn't try to kill you. It took him a couple of minutes to wash up before he went to open the door.

"Hey." he said, before stepping aside to let her in.

Well, you told me about nowhere well it sounds like someplace I'd like to go. whiskey_sunday August 31 2010, 00:00:23 UTC
"I knew you were home," She teased, making fun of his timing to answer the door. "Anyways. I'm here to fix your house--er, living room. Since i did not destroy your entire house!" Erin amended, worrying of what Rory would think if word about the matches got back to her older sister. But if it does, hopefully that rumor would also include how she came back-without being ordered!-to take responsibility. Erin really wanted to get that cat...

He chuckled a little. "Come in." he said and headed into the living room. The walls had black marks all over, some furniture had been ruined by the flames and he needed a new TV. Not that he watched many shows, but still, it was convenient to have.

As Erin walked into the destroyed living room, her spirits dropped. She didnt remember things looking like this. But then again, she was too busy chasing after the ghost she didnt have time to look back once the fire was put out. Also it was dark, so there wasn't much to see to begin with.
"Do you have any paint or some rags?" She asked, faking a smile.

They'd mostly just need to clean the walls, but a couple of furniture and the TV would have to be replaced. Moon was rid of the ghost, so he didn't look so dark on it right now, but he was still a bit sad about his couch.

It had been so pretty and comfortable.

"Not paint. There are rags in the kitchen cabinet by the floor."

Well, the windshield was broken but I love the fresh air you know. whiskey_sunday August 31 2010, 04:05:05 UTC
Erin nodded. She went off to get them, after telling Moon to fetch a bucket of water and some soap. They spent the rest of the day light hours fixing and cleaning the room. Besides washing, Erin helped-as much as she could-with the heavy lifting to move out the damaged furniture and rearrange the room.

Erin fell back into a couch that had escaped the fire, resting after all that work. "Well, i think thats all we can do for now... Wait for a garage sale to roll around." She looked around the room, then after a short pause she added, "Well hey! We got this done, how do you want to celebrate your freedom?"

At last the living room looked better than when they started. The worst was taken care of and the ruined furniture and tv was out, giving more space. At least he had that one smaller couch Erin was sitting on that could be saved thanks to intense washing, so he left it there.

Celebrate his freedom, huh?

"Hm...." he pondered for a moment. A drink was very tempting...

".... I could use a drink to be honest..."

Oh, we talked about nothing which was more than I wanted you to know-oh-oh-oh-oh. Now here we go! whiskey_sunday August 31 2010, 04:43:30 UTC
Erin suddenly stood up with a jump, "Alright! Wanna break out the booze you have here?" For some reason, this one has it into her head that every household has its own well stocked liquor cabinet, and that there are plenty of ingredients, to make specialty drinks, in the kitchen. Without a repsonce from Moon, she began to make her way over to the direction she assumed was the kitchen.

His booze? Wait, he didn't have any. Moon watched her disappear towards his kitchen, and quickly followed.

"I'm sort of out of booze at the moment." he said. "Well, except one bottle of vodka that I rarely drink." he admitted, cheeks turning pink.

Stupid blush... Go away!

It must've been pure woman instinct. Erin found herself in the middle of a giant kitchen. But once hearing the words, "Out of booze at the moment" she immediately turned around, "Well, i am kinda low on money... But we recently went grocery shopping, so theres stuff back at my house..." A hang gently tapped on her chin while she thought aloud. "Wanna just head over there then?"

On the invitation for him to come over, he thought for a moment. It was tempting, so he nodded. "Why not?" he said and smiled a bit.

He wasn't working today and he had nothing else planned. Why not hang out with a friend?

Erin and Moon climbed into his pretty trunk and left for her place. She played navigator from the passenger seat-though rather pointless with liberty being so small. It didnt take him long, almost no time at all.

When they entered her place, she went straight to her and Rory's liquor cabinet. "So any specialty drinks you want me to make?" She called over her shoulder, more or less a way to say get comfortable.

Usually he just took a tiny glass of vodka, which was enough for him. Otherwise it was milk, milk and more milk. His bones were probably like diamonds by now, unbreakable unless you used a lot of force.

He was very tempted to ask for a glass of milk....So he did.
".... Milk please." he said. Quite honestly he couldn't help it, milk was just so good. Especially cold. Very cold.

".... Or vodka."

...we need old spice to declare Moon's bones diamonds... whiskey_sunday September 4 2010, 07:36:31 UTC
Erin turned once again, dumbfounded. "Bodach," Dude... "Have you ever gone out, drinking before? To a real pub, with a real bartender, with real drinks? Vodka is fine--But have you ever tried, i dont know-" she stopped herself from going on. The look on his face said it enough that he could probably count on one hand of all his visits. She gave a loud sigh and went into the kitchen.

"Yeah, i'll get you your damn milk..." If Moon had been smart enough to watch her, he'd seen that her voice did not in the least betrayed her actions of making a special milky concoction . She came out not to long later with a glass of milk for him, and something special for herself as well.

Yup... Maybe he uses Old Spice... vicious_wolf September 6 2010, 12:34:07 UTC
Pubs weren't really places he went to that often. When a firefighter you sorta needed a clear head, so alcohol too often wasn't too smart in his case.

Moon grinned sheepishly, his blush coming on, and he cursed himself quietly for that. Again. Wasn't there some way to stop it? Sure it had been cute before. When he was a little kid at the age of 5 and being shy of strangers and hiding behind your parents' legs were completely accepted.

He took the glass of milk and drank from it.
"..."

That was strange. It tasted milk, but... not only milk. Had she put something in it?

Erin watched him carefully from the corner of her eye as she drank her own glass. "What?", she said oh so innocently, "I gave you what you wanted. You have your glass, and i have mine." It was not a lie. It was a glass of milk he had, and earlier he said he wanted some alcohol, and just recently milk. Whats the problem if she just so happened to have some dirty sounding cocktail recipe notecards stashed away for moments like these?
It was getting harder not to smirk, so Erin continued to sip her drink. Taking as much time was needed to calm down. After all, it was he who needed to lighten up.
