After a moment of drying glasses Luciano couldn't help but noticed the hand waving him over. Nodding the male the Brazilian tossed the rag aside and set the glass back into the rack neatly before walking over.

Looking at the mans face Luciano was hit with how familiar he looked. His brow furrowed as he tried to place the handsome face. It was then he realized what the male was missing was a pair of scrubs and name tag. Olivier.

"Hey~" Luciano greeted. "What can I get you, Olivier," Luciano said sweetly. His name falling off his tongue smoothly as he leaned on the bar a bit. His smile friendly for the moment.

Swallowing, Olivier gave the younger man a shaky nod before glancing at the assorted bottles of liquor. Maybe he shouldn't have another drink...Especially not while around him.

Clearing his throat, he addressed the Brazilian. "Just some water, please?"

Luciano raised a brow. "Just water?" he chuckled lightly. "C'mon a guy doesn't walk into a bar just for water," he said a bit casually. This was not a set up for a cheesy joke. "Unless you're new to the bar scene?" he asked straightening up.

"Tell you what, try this drink on the house. It's not that strong but it isn't water either," he said fixing the man a blue drink. "Here," he offered. "Relax a little... the bar is for stress relief," he said playfully.

"Ah, I really shouldn't be here actually, so please don't-" Oh, never mind.

Eyes fixed on the unassuming drink (a Blue Lagoon, was it?), Olivier debated over whether or not to take the offered glass. Well, it would be rude to decline, no?

He winced slightly before setting the now half-empty glass back down. "Thank you, but I really must be going now," Olivier muttered as he made to stand up.

Raising a brow at the man as he took the drink. It was a bit of an awkward moment as he drank the Blue Lagoon. But as he got up to leave Luciano reached over to the mans shirt. Something was a bit off.

"Hold on a second... is there something on your mind?" Luciano asked as he leaned over the bar a bit more.

But before he could get an answer, Bertha, the bouncer of the club came and tapped Luciano on the shoulder, signaling it was time for his break. The Brazilian smiled and nodded. "Hold that thought~" he smiled walking around the bar and hooking his arm with Olivier. "C'mon... it's Friday night and you look troubled," he said waving a finger. He found a booth and nodded for Olivier to sit. "Relax!" he said waving to the waitress to bring a couple more drinks. "So what is it that has you so worried?" Luciano asked with a bit of a chuckle.

Why had he allowed himself to be dragged over to the empty booth?

Mouth set in a thin line, Olivier stared at the younger man with a look of annoyance as he reclined back against his seat in an attempt to create more distance between the two.

"There's nothing worrying me. I just do not feel comfortable being here," Olivier muttered as he crossed his arms over his chest. "Why, monsieur, are you so adamant about my not leaving? Coming here was a mistake and I would rather much relax at home."

A curious look came upon Luciano's face as Olivier spoke. Uncomfortable about being here? Luciano found that strange. "Just how are you uncomfortable?" Luciano asked curiously.

Looking around Luciano couldn't see what it was. If Luciano had to guess it was probably that the male wasn't used to going out as much. "C'mon have a little fun," the Brazilian urged waving a hand. "Is it wrong to try and show you a good time?" he asked with a smile.

It was then the DJ switched up the music. Luciano turned toward the dance floor and raised a brow to Olivier. "Let's dance~ It's a great way to relieve stress~" he said happily reaching for Olivier's hand. "It's not gonna kill you to have fun right?

"I'm not, how do you say, used to places such as these," Not as if he ever wanted to get used to these types of establishments. "And I am much too tired now, so I'd rather go home and relax. Ah, long day at work," Olivier finished lamely.

"But if you'll excuse-" He broke off with an indignant noise as he found himself hulled up and dragged towards the dance floor. "N-Non!," Jerking his hand away, Olivier turned to glare at the insistent Brazilian.

...before he realized that he had been dragged out into the middle of the dance floor.

Merde.

"Used to these kinds of places?" Luciano responded with a slight grin. "You mean clubbing or..." he then turned to the crowd around the dance floor. Needless to say anything more at the sight of dance partners. "Look, you look as if your the type to work and never play," Luciano was a bit close so that the older male could hear him through the pounding base. "As a nurse you should know too much stress is unhealthy right?" he asked rhetorically.

Luciano tilted his head a bit with a friendly smile. "Dancing helps you set your mind away and makes the body move... c'mon, one dance won't kill you," he said trying to seem as harmless as possible. "Besides it's the least I can do for you helping out my friend... and I happen to have a great respect for your line of work," he continued with a shrug. Why was the Brazilian trying so hard? Simple, he happened to find Olivier interesting. Was it wrong to try and make friends?

"I know all about endorphins and relaxation," Olivier responded dryly. "And a bit of both, really." He would, however, admit that he had frequented a few bars here and there as soon as he was old enough to drink. But even that wasn't much to brag about, really.

Waving off the praise, Olivier heaved a defeated sigh as he fixed the Brazilian with a blank stare. "Fine," he muttered. "I'll stay for one dance and nothing more. Contrary to what you think, activities such as these aren't the only ways to relax." Eyebrow raised, Olivier fought back a dark blush as he waited for the Brazilian to make his move.

You won't be saying that in a couple hours~ amor_carnival September 7 2010, 08:06:54 UTC
The Brazilian beamed with a wide smile. Thankfully Olivier had given in. He was running out of excuses. But he didn't argue with the turn out. One dance was all Luciano was asking for. "Alright... It's a deal," he said reaching for the man's hand. The Latin style beat was perfect for couple dancing and the Brazilian was glad for it.

He gently tugged to bring Olivier at least with in arms distance and moved his feet while slightly shifting his weight between his hips. His movements in sync with the bass of the music. "Just have fun with it," he smiled keeping his eyes locked on that of the older males.

Olivier could feel the hot, dark flush burn at his ears and the back of his neck as he attempted to match the Brazilian's movements. It wasn't as if he's never danced before. But the type of dancing he did was, well, a bit different from what was currently happening around him.

...and, in all honesty, if he had to be dancing in such a manner, he would have appreciated the company of a woman at this exact moment. Maybe, just maybe, it would have made things a bit easier for him.

Or maybe not.

But with that fleeting thought aside, Olivier soon found himself less tense than before as they continued to dance, not noticing that they had moved from the "one song, one dance" rule as DJ skipped ahead to the end of song number two.

The Dj switched tracks and Luciano was happy to see the tension in Olivier fade. Even Luciano had to admit he was lost in the dancing. In fact, Luciano hadn't even noticed that Olivier was closer to him. A nice a little surprise as they danced into the next song. He smiled warmly approving of the fact that the temp was a bit slower than the last song.

Luciano gently pulled the older male closer and was glad to see that he had enjoyed himself a bit. "You're good at this," Luciano smiled.

The Brazilian felt his heart beat quicken as he caught the male in the light for a moment. Luciano had to admire the man's features. He was indeed handsome and the younger of the pair would be lying if he said he didn't feel a certain attraction. "Look... I know this seems a bit forward but," Luciano felt a knot in his stomach tighten. "Is it so bad that I find you attractive?" he asked with a gentle stare. Luciano was sure to still keep the beat in his movements.

Tensing briefly as the younger man tugged him forward, Olivier forced himself to relax once more as he allowed the gentle pull. Allowing a small, albeit sheepish, smile to grace to his lips, Olivier took the compliment with an easy 'thank you.'

However, at the sudden admittance from the Brazilian, the older man felt his face heat up rapidly in embarrassment, eyes wide as a spluttered out a shaky, "W-What?!"

Even so, Olivier made no move to pull away.
