WHO: Alfie & Meimei + OPEN TO ALL. TO ALL!
WHEN: July 25th, evening
WHERE: The Green Palace!
WHAT: There is nothing in the world that a good cup of tea and a kissing booth cannot fix.
(
And Al is like, DAMN THIS IS SOME GOOD TEA. AND HOW ABOUT A KISS? )
And some incense. She was getting empty of it...
Happy with her purchases half an hour later, Kim headed back home, passing by the Green Palace on the way.
"... What the....?" Was that a kissing booth? With Mei? And Al?? This was just... She'd expected it from Al, but...
No, quite honestly, she would probably expect it from Mei as well.
Of course she had to walk over, cause she had to find out what in the world was wrong with their heads.
"Kissing booth?" she looked at them. "What if your mom sees you, Mei? Have you lost it?"

She scooted over to the edge of the table while the other customers studied the price chart. She gestured to the chart, presenting it to Kim.
"Only two dollars, Kimmy. Wouldn't you like a kiss from Al? I've heard he is a good kisser. Hahah~"

"I'd imagine kissing was a lot more fun when you didn't have to pay for it." she muttered to herself.
"Uuhh... No thanks. I've had my share of his kisses....." she shook her head at Mei's suggestion.
After that she turned to Alfred. He apparently hadn't changed that much after all. Well, at least it was only kissing and nothing more...

And hopefully leave you wanting more so I can finally get to second base...

She leaned on the table and caught the way that Kim and Al exchanged looks... like they knew each other from before and did something from before that Mei didn't know about it.
"Yeah, Kim! It's just a kiss. Al's great at it! And that's not to say that Al is a manwhore, but you know... he is great."

"How do you know how great he is? Have you kissed him?" she asked her best friend, looking at the girl again.
"I'm not paying for something I already know how feels like...." she muttered, before taking out her phone and checking the time. She had to get back home soon...

"I don't just kiss anyone, besides, Al's like a brother to me," she responded and shrugged her shoulders like she really didn't care.
Then Al's response hit her. And her eyes went wide. Her teeth clenched. She glared at the corner of the table. Why did that keep happening? Why did the boys she wanted never wanted her back? Why did Kim get all the boys?
She licked her lips and leaned back into her chair, her arms over her chest.
"Are you going to buy a kiss or not? You are holding up the line."

Kim looked at Alfred, raising an eyebrow. Was he really that confident she'd come forth and give him a kiss now? Maybe if she hadn't met that other guy...
No no. She wouldn't have done it even then. Their short relationship four years ago was enough for her. Those past feelings were no more.
After that she looked at Mei again. Hopefully Mei wouldn't fall for him like she had. Kim was rooting for Zhi personally, knowing the boy's crush on Mei. If only Mei could realize that soon...
Of course, it wouldn't stop her from having some fun.
"... Why don't you get a kiss from him? I'll pay for you." She said with a slight smirk.

Mei almost fell off her chair. She hugged herself, suddenly feeling incredibly exposed even though she was fully clothed and wasn't... nevermind.
"Why... would... I... Haha~ Oh, Kimmy, it doesn't work that way," Mei laughed. "Al and I are partners in this, it would throw off the whole dynamic if we did anything like that. I'm sure you'd understand. Anyways, are you buying a kiss or not? Because like I said, you are holding up the line and we would really like to make some money tonight."
She caught her breath and looked away, trying not to look at Al.

"Fine." she found her wallet, and put a 10 on their table.
"Have fun, Al. Don't wear her out." she said with a wink, before she stepped back and picked up her groceries again.

"W-wait, Kimmy! Where are you going!? H-hey, look, Al, she's paid us already, so we don't have to, because, money... business, dynamic... Alfred... Alfred!"
Oh god. She was going to really faint if Al didn't pull away.

"You two have fun. And don't let your mom catch you, Mei. You know you'll be in big trouble if she does." she said and sighed. How was it Mei always managed to win boys over like that? Maybe not always as a romantic interest, but as that.... little sister they wanted to protect.
She blamed her own need to show she didn't need protection. Yeah. And she wasn't cute enough, probably, which Mei was.
"I'll see you around, Al. Stay out of trouble." and she finally headed home.

"See you, Kimmy," she called out weakly, "Call me... or not."
She picked up the ten dollar bill and put it in the makeshift bubble cup on the table. She looked to Al and smiled with a blush.
"Good job, partner~"
