Everyday When You're Walking Down the Street, Everybody That You Meet, Has an Original Point of View

Who:  Kim and Sindre
Where:  Creeping about her house
When:  Thursday 22 July, late afternoon
What:  Stained shirts and kitties make for a perfect meeting.

Today...could have gone better.  He wasn't supposed to work, but due to, well, everything that happened yesterday, he came early to make sure everything was still in order.  He also had to work on the charms he didn't finish yesterday, and he was backlogged on the custom orders.  He ended up working clear through til twenty minutes ago, when he finally had enough of Madame Maime's meddling in what he was working on and casually left before he strangled her.  Or allowed the nökk that roamed outside of town to pay her a visit.

He stopped at a corner, trying to figure out just where his feet had taken him.  Just great.  According to the street signs, he had inadvertently ended up on the opposite side of town.  Sitting down on the curb for a moment's rest, he took stock of his situation.  He could feel a blister forming on his heel, and he had no desire to walk all the way back to the Charleston.  However, he had forgotten his phone, and he felt uncomfortable waiting around hoping some alternate means of transportation would appear.

Sindre allowed himself a few more minutes of rest before forcing himself to his feet.  If he had waited much more, he wasn't sure he would have found the energy to stand at all.  He turned back the way he came with a sigh, he did his best not to think of popped blisters and bloody socks.  Focusing his attention on the houses across the streets to distract himself, he couldn't help envying the people inside.  Or, more accurately, their air conditioners.
