Tino felt awesome today.
Really awesome.
Like, seriously.
See, it began in the morning, like most stories did. Or well, this particular one did at least. But anyway, it started off like any other morning you could think of. Tino woke up, cursed the alarm in his mind before pulling himself up, putting some clothes on and reluctantly departing his cozy bedroom. After that, he dragged himself into the bathroom, as usual, washed his teeth, his face, blah blah... And this is where we skip to the amazing part.
As he was running his hand through his hair, watching his reflection in the mirror, feeling low down because of how unbelievably boyish he still looked despite being 21 already for God's sake, Tino sighed deeply, thinking to himself that maybe he should stop looking into the mirror altogether in the mornings, because it always made him feel so insec-...insecu-...
And then it happened. Like BOOM. Completely out of the blue

But yes, in the evening, as he returned home, he had found the house to be quiet, and assumed that Berwald must be in bed already. He himself didn't feel tired at all though, and since he was suddenly unemployed, he had no reason to force himself into bed early either. So he stayed up, deciding to look through all kinds of stuff he didn't even remember he'd packed along

It was rather awkward to look for the keys, what with them shackled to each other. Especially when Tino kept forgetting it and almost yanking Berwald out of balance. And in the end they couldn't find the keys anyway. Tino even professed he wasn't sure if he ever had had any keys for the handcufs. There was a brief flicker of uncertainty as he said that...but then he just laughed again, in that new raucous way

Shoes. Who needed them anyway? Well, he himself still did have shoes on even though he always, always took them off before going inside like you should. Tino would never understand people who wore shoes inside, ever. Or maybe a he did a little bit today, since today was the day when he hadn't even noticed that he'd left his shoes on when going inside after coming home. So high above had his thoughts been that he had no time to think about what was going on in his feet.
Bu yes, because he had shoes, Berwald surely would have no need for them, right? There was another form of transportation that crossed Tino's mind and that could be used in this situation for the Swede
...For reasons unknown he didn't feel like taking the car.
So it happened that Tino stepped closer to the man dressed in his H&M pyjama pants and scooped him to his arms, grinning and ignoring the slight staggering of his feet as he started to walk off, certain that his stamina could bring them to infinity and beyond if needed, even though Tino was also pretty certain
