WHO: Emiliana and Loto (open for others later?)
WHEN: July 10th, Saturday morning
WHERE: Liberty Zoo
WHAT: Belated birthday present turned awkward outing. What more could you ask for?
She felt like a mother taking her young child to the zoo for the very first time.
Her very tall, scarily sheltered, and not-so-young child, to be exact.
When she had gone to pick up Loto, Emi had found the eighteen year old already at the door and, well, she'd be lying if she said he hadn't looked and acted overly excited. Which, really, had been strangely adorable. Strange being the key word. So with a grin and the repression of a certain memory (like hell if she was going to remember their first encounter today), she had ushered Loto down and out of the Charleston and into her car.
Now, one short drive later, they were inside the zoo and...Emi had no idea as to where to go first.
And Jesus Christ, the screaming and screeching of ill-behaved children was already starting to grate on her nerves.
"L-Loto," she said, turning to stare up at the wide-eyed teen with a strained smile. "Where do you want to go to first?"
