Matthew walked into the bar filled with excitement. It was crowded, people everywhere at the bar and at tables. Almost every screen was on the same game. The Flyers vs the Blackhawks.

"Yeah," he responded, "she called me in. Forgot my phone, otherwise I would have let you know and had you send me updates."

Sindre frowned as he heard Matthew's assessment of the refing. "Son of a bitch," he agreed. "Isn't he the one up for some record of most games ruling? Probably trying to pad the number. Who's been playing better?"

Matthew continued to catch him up throughout the period break, and by the time play restarted Sindre felt he had a good idea of what had happened.

The third period was just as aggressive as the previous two. The Blackhawks were getting more total shots, but the Flyers had a greater number of chances--at nine minutes left Blackhawks were up 6-3 shots, but only one of those was a good chance and all of the Flyers' were.

Almost five minutes left. Sindre was starting to get anxious; the Flyers were around the Blackhawks' net far to much for his liking. And...

"FUCK. FUCKFUCKFUCKFUCKFUCK. GODDAMN MOTHERFUCKING LITTLE PUNKASS PIECES OF SHIT. HOW DARE YOU FUCKING..." Sindre continued with a litany of curses under his breath as the marked up a third goal for the Flyers, tying it up. He could hear Matthew doing the same next to him. They were both on the edge of their seats, completely focused on the screen. Sindre hated over time, hated it so much, but it was better than the Flyer's taking it with so little time left...

The buzzer sounded and Sindre let out the breath he had been holding. At least they have a bit of a reprieve, and hopefully the Blackhawks could put one away quick. "Fuck. Overtime. I hate sudden death. 'Specially since the Flyers took the last game that went into it."
