Almost jumping out of his skin when he heard the pounding on his door, use to the silence by now. He recognized the voice and sighed to himself, staying where he was, making no move to go open the door for his friend. He didn't exactly want it right now, and it was his apartment, he didn't have to let anyone in if he didn't want to.
For someone who'd decided to go into hiding a few days before, Toris didn't look like a wreck, he looked quite normal, actually, and his apartment was in fine shape. A small white bandage wrapped around his left wrist was the only indicator of something out of place.
The calling got louder and Toris flinched at his place in his room, maybe if he just didn't answer, the other would go away.
Antonio's hand started to throb and he stopped nocking momentarily. He pulled back his hand and looked at the knuckles. They were red and had little scratches from where he had been hitting against the rough wooden door. He clenched his hand before deciding what to do next. Well, since knocking hadn't worked maybe kicking would work
( ... )
Who could blame someone for not answering the accusation....his door was hanging by its' chain! Toris blinked so wildly that he looked like he'd developed some sort of nervous twitch, his mouth slack open. He shut it with a snap and tried to ignore the people that were now coming over to see what happened. He almost glared at Toni, what had he been thinking?!
"What did you just do?!" His voice shooting up slightly higher at his distress, how in the world was he suppose to explain this to the Landlord? His only relief was that he was the only one in this apartment now, with Herc gone and all.
"Toris. Answer my question" He said once more. However, he got distracted by the people now standing around the door and he quickly turned his attention to that. He let his fake smile take over once more and he turned his attention to the doorway.
"Lo siento. I don't know my own strength" He said with a small chuckle, palms up in an innocent gesture. The people accepted his apology and turned back to their own rooms. He knew they probably didn't believe him fully but at least he was polite and Antonio's natural optimism made most people calm. Once the people had left he slipped the door back into the frame and made a mental note to fix the door later but turned back to Toris.
"Answer.My.Question" He said, voice dangerously low once more and smile gone.
