I thought you were dead somewhere.

 WHO: Luciano and Emiliana
WHEN: Late Saturday night, May 15th
WHERE: Their (Emiliana's) apartment, fifth floor of the Charleston
WHAT: Guess who's back (back again~)?

Finals and the stress of graduating soon were already starting to get to her. Aside from working and cooking for John Paul and Jared (the latter of which, thanks to John's little comments, was once again making her feel the slightest bit uncomfortable and embarrassed), Emiliana had found herself either in the library for hours on end or locked up inside her apartment with a constant flow of coffee ready for her disposal as she flipped and scribbled away.

But now, now it was Saturday night. Now Emi could relax a bit before repeating a similar process of studying and cooking the coming day.

Stretched out on her living room couch and curled up under a thin blanket with the tv on and spewing out the sounds of a melodramatic Spanish soap opera, Emi was feeling fairly content. Or rather, content enough for the tension in her shoulders to ease a bit as she watched the latest episode of her current favorite novela. Eyes glued to the screen in front of her while she unknowingly bit down on her lower lip in anticipation (as the female antagonist proclaimed for the wedding goers that she was pregnant with the heroines lover's child), Emiliana found herself too preoccupied with the program to notice the sounds of the doorknob briefly rattling before the door to her apartment was pushed wide open.

That is, until she heard a voice (a too familiar but no longer so familiar voice) call out her name.

This in turn caused her to let out an almost embarrassingly high pitched scream in fright.

Great, now she was going to die before finding out if Alejandra Rosalinda Tapia really was pregnant with the Juan Marco's child or not.
