But that was beside the point. The point - the beautiful point standing on Arthur's welcome carpet - was that his lovely tea with the robins had turned him into a victim of breaking and entering. But alas - the girl standing on the creaking polished wood floors was an angel, and not the stone one sobbing behind the robins' tree.
The Welshman's teeth shone in the light flowing through Arthur's meticulously clean windows. He displaced his hands in his pockets, and arched back a little at the small of his back to stretch the pinstripes of his trousers to appear a few inches taller.

But, first things first.
Without another word or look at the man who could soon be on her list of those who would have their final appointment with her, Natalia strode past him into the main hallway. She would both reacquaint herself with this calming place and look for Kirkland at the same time. Natalia always tried to kill two birds with one stone if she could.
Though with a little work, perhaps she could get three birds this time.

The Welshman slipped between Natalia's figure and Arthur's skinny hallway to stop her just short of the kitchen. "Well, what I mean to say is... your visit is not entirely in vain. Perhaps I could be of assistance?"
