When tiny, cute, and relatively harmless animals attack

Apr 24, 2010 22:20

Who: The youngest Kirkland and the shortest Kirkland.
When: Saturday. (4/24)
Where: Baby Sister's apartment
What: Remy and Peter (The cute ones in the family) Vs. Kisa and Boom (Their cute, fuzzy companions)

Remy wasn't pacing. She was just walking. In circles. Nice, normal, calm circles around her apartment.

Peter was coming over, and they were going to hang out with his guinea pig. Because they were friends.

They'd made posters together, and she'd been there for the exploding of his backpack.

Friends did things like that. And Peter was her friend.

Maybe he happened to be her brother as well, but that didn't change anything. He was still her friend. There was no reason to be nervous.

So, she wasn't nervous.
And if you're not nervous, there's no reason to pace.

And so, she wasn't pacing.

So maybe Peter was a little temperamental about siblings. Maybe he seemed to hate Arthur and barely acknowledged John Paul's existence. But he was essentially friendly, and being his friend was safe territory. There was no need to feel like she was walking on eggshells.

She flumped down on the couch and sighed. Yeah, right. Cool as a cucumber.
In an incinerator, maybe.

"hanging out", it's pronounced 'aww-ngst', status: complete, bonding tiemz, you won't like me when i'm angry, sealand, british virgin isles, alas poor childe i knew him well...
