Who: Big Brother Dewi and Baby Brother Peter When: April 7, Wednesday evening Where: Starbucks What: Baby brother has a problem. Big brother is here to help! ( Promise you won't tell Arthur...! )
At first Dewi believed the object he'd come in contact with was the door - well, a very short door - because running into doors wasn't an irregularity. Whether on stage or off the stage, it happened, and people would laugh.
Running into people wasn't an irregularity either, although unintentional. Running into siblings was a curse the Kirklands were marked with since, or even before, birth, but this had to have been the first time he literally ran into one of his siblings.
"Fire hazard?!" He objected, grasping Peter's shoulders and deviating him from the path of a passing cyclist. "You're the one running out of the building like it is on fire. It isn't on fire, is it?" He peered over Peter's head and examined the autumn color scheme of the coffee shop. His eyes wandered back to his half-brother when he noticed that his hands did nothing to keep him from shaking like a leaf. "Oh, Peter! Do you have a cold? You've spilled coffee down your trousers... come on, let's go inside."
Peter shot his eyes down and groaned loudly at the stain. He almost threw his cup to the pavement before he took into consideration that said action would result in splashing that would, in turn, result in further staining. Life was being extremely difficult at the moment!
And, Dewi was already pushing him back inside the coffee shop like he was a stray sheep. Back to the barn, he went. He took his table back, glaring at the employee who was cleaning the mess he had made earlier. He sat down on his chair, put his cup on the table, and stared at Dewi with narrowed eyes.
"Why did you come?" Peter asked bluntly with a dash of bitterness in his voice. His lips formed a small pout. If Dewi was in on some sort of prank with Arthur... Peter wouldn't stand for it!

'Why did you come?' What kind of question was that? Did they not just spend fifteen minutes texting each other with plans to meet up? Perhaps this was just a façade? It wasn't a well-kept secret that the Kirklands were masters of theatre (the Ainsworth clan hoarding most of the ability). If Peter was acting, than it was impressionable. And as Dewi settled against the, frankly, gaudy-looking armchair and tried to configure the positioning of his legs, he tried to see past Peter's mask - while reassuring the poor brunette who'd been mopping up their table with a sincere smile.
"I came here out of concern Peter. How do you expect someone to react when their sibling leaves such a frantic message on their cell phone?" he laced his fingers together and perched his chin on them.
For a second there, I thought Wales has become one with Russia. :TlonglivesealandApril 9 2010, 06:16:51 UTC
Peter's face contorted into a grimace for the longest second before he softened and shied away, tossing his glance and attention to a spill on the floor. He stared at the pomegranate-colored liquid, as if his eyes could evaporate the mess
