Well, folks...I have FINALLY put down my knitting for awhile and have started to work again on my large drawing. I got a bit more done on it Saturday, before leaving for a birthday party for my cousin. I hope to really concentrate on it this week.
I heard from my college art teacher last night. It was sure a nice surprise! :)

UPDATE
I went to the eye doctors today (just for my annual checkup) I told myself that when I got through all my "C" stuff, that I was going to get contacts. (((drumroll please....)) SO I GOT EM'!! Yep! I have them in right now. I am getting used to them :)
I am still in the testing stages for a week with these puppies, and I have a follow up appt. this next Monday for any adjusting in my perscription, but so far so good. I have what they call "Mono Vision Contacts."

One of my eyes really is bad :( and the other is really good...and I can see far away just fine, but I suck up close.
I went with what they call "dailies" They are more expensive because you throw them away after wearing them a full day. Dailies cut down the problems with infection etc. I didn't care how much they cost...((because I am worth it)) :)
That was prolly a big bore to read if you know all about contacts etc. But I had to tell you-cuz' I was so excited, and I tell you guys everything ;) (well ALL-most everything))
Kip went to the eye doctors with me-for HIS check up as well. He wants to get contacts too, so next Monday he will be fitted for his :)
Well, I am off to go log in to EBSQ for the LIVE Chat tonight which ison "Imaging Best Practices for Art & Photography Print Production"
