Boy! I have been too busy to blog as much as I thought I would. (but that's a good thing right?) I will tell you more about what we did when I get home...so right now I will just say we are having a great time and have had a variety of weather while here. It was cloudy & foggy day on Wednesday...really some BIG surf going on around here the past few days, guess we are at the edge of the bad storms happening up in the Pacific Northwest.
Since it was foggy on the coast, Mom and I drove to the little town of Bodega and went to an Artist Co-Op that had all handmade things and a lot of hand spun / dyed yarns. These hats were very cool I thought. I almost bought the
one on the far left. It was SO soft and reminded me of a baby gosling.
Look at this $200.00 Hat! Wild huh? I tried it on and I looked like I had a brand spankin' new mop on my head ;)
After the co-op we drove to the town of Sebastopol. I loved the green GREEN hills with the contrasting black and white Moo's. ;)
Town of Sebastopol.
Kip came a little later in the day and the fog REALLY rolled in, he couldn't even see the ocean :(
The next day Kip and I drove into town again to do some Christmas shopping (Mom stayed back at the house to finish reading her mystery novel she purchased) Here's another shot of the rental house we are staying in.
Kip shopped for about 30 mins. then he went and had a beer while I continued to shop a couple more hours. The weather was much better in town, and eventually cleared up on the coast as well!
