((Update)) I turned back on the comment feature, now you can comment if you want. I guess I clicked on the wrong little square earlier. ((oops))
Hi All! we are here finally in Bodega Bay along the California coast. I forgot my mouse for the laptop, so I couldn't blog until yesterday. (ya, I had to go buy another one in the town of Sebastopol) Ok...I will just post a bunch of pictures and tell you (briefly) what you are looking at. First picture, a seagull...lol! (k, you knew that..)

It was raining hard when we left Sacramento, but cleared up around Vallejo... and was so green and lush.

We decide to stop at "The Tides" and had a shrimp cocktail and a glass of wine" we also bought some fresh crab to have for dinner.

(which we had last night) while sitting in the den.

We sat outside on picnic tables and watched the seagulls ((swarm)) the food that the tourists would throw out for them...It was spooky at times because they would really fight for the bread. They were about 2 feet away from us also! I kinda motioned for the kid who was feeding them, to move further away...geez...not too relaxing with a swarm of these guys at your toes!

Then that man you see walking away was emptying a bag of popcorn on the ground to make a trail of food for the birds.

We get to our Beach Rental house ...

Check out the view from the (very comfy) living room.

And here's a view outside on the front deck.

I zoomed in...

Mom's bedroom...

and MY bedroom ;)

and finally this will be Kip's bedroom (just kidding!!))

The has lots of cool antiques and its very warm and inviting. I brought up some firewood so we have been making fires in the fireplace. It's just so great!!

While in Sebastopol yesterday, Mom and I went to lunch at this restaurant called "East West Cafe" I have been there before (maybe 4 times or so) The food is excellent. I got a turkey burger and Mom got something much healthier...Falafel's

After lunch we drove back home but on the way stopped in the little town of Bodega. We went into a little arts co-op gift shop. I bought some pretty dark green angora yarns :) We re going back there in a few minutes because I want to get some smaller needles, an my Mom is interested in getting some yarn to make a little scarf for herself. (She has been knitting all morning on one I started for a gift for my sister and is REALLY enjoying it ;)
Ok gang I will go for now! GAWD, I LOVE THIS PLACE!! Lo**
