Happy Friday Everyone! I finally made those cookies that I was going to make over the weekend. They are "Pumpkin Spice Cookies with a Buttercream WORM doodle on top." (Ya, that's the official recipe title--(jk)

Hi Pauline! Glad you liked the worm cookies ;) as well as the cover ideas. I got some feedback on the MLR covers even before John had showed them to you I think? I haven't re-done the covers according to those suggestions yet...so stay tuned. Lo**
Hi Valerie! The recipe was from a Mrs. Feilds Cookie book that I had. I added the butter cream frosting and extra pecans to the top. (and it said to add a cup of raisens, but I was all out of raisens)
Here's the actual recipe:lolo_artSeptember 30 2006, 01:38:34 UTC
Pumpkin Spice Cookies
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour ½ tsp. Baking soda ¼ tsp. Salt 2 tsp. Pumpkin pie spice 1 cup dark brown sugar, packed ½ cup white sugar ¾ cup salted butter, softened 1 large egg 1 cup pumpkin (canned or freshly cooked) t tsp. pure vanilla extract 1 cup (6 oz.) raisins ½ cup (2 oz.) walnuts, chopped
Yield: 3 dozen
Preheat over to 300 degrees F. In a medium bowl combine flour, soda, salt and pumpkin pie spice. Mix well with a wire whisk and set aside. In a large bowl blend sugars with an electric mixer set at medium speed. Add the butter and beat to form a grainy paste. Scrape sides of bowl, then add egg, pumpkin and vanilla. Beat a medium speed until light and fluffy. Add the flour mixture, raisins and walnuts. Blend at low speed just until combined. Do not overmix. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets, 1 ½ inches apart. Bake 22-24 minutes until cookies are slightly brown along edges. Immediately transfer cookies with a spatula to a cool surface.

Was it fun to see familiar names that launched with us? YEAH!
Also, we got an inquiry about the doodler that listed OSWOA, I believe the person was referring to you. Dustie will confirm. He is writing a book on doodles ;) Good luck! xox

I might try to sell more things on eBay, and if they're 4" x 6" I'll be able to join OSWOA too! I love your flower imagery in the doodles.
Happy to hear that you're getting better rest now.
