So, life is pretty good. Steamboat was fun (we got second place!) and the slam went well on Monday. Good job to everybody who slammed. The Denver youth poetry scene is turning out really well. Yesterday I hung out with Maggie for a long time and saw a great movie and tried a crossword puzzle because we are incredibly nerdy. It was good fun. Last night, after an awesome line up at Pretty Boy's I went with Gray, Brandon, and Kara to attempt swing dancing at the merc. We all failed because apon our arrival we realized that none of us could dance. So we decided to come back for a lesson another day and tramped off on an exciting adventure in the big city. You know that one big building on like 20th and California (?? I'm not exactly sure where) that's built around the church? Well, we were trying to figure out what kind of building was and the security guard scared us away. Must be like an FBI building or something.

Wait-it might not be on 20th and California because the address is 1999 Broadway.

Anyhoo, we went to Leela's and hung there for a while and went home.

And it was good. I had a lovely night.
