Happy November!!
So let me tell you how happy I am the October is finally over! Don't get me wrong, it started out good and ended good. Let's recap October...
Started out great! Had Mexican with Adam and his family and friends for his birthday. I got him hookah stuff. Then was my birthday. Which was nice. It was loads of fun actually. First group of people to be here since I moved. Which totally rocked!
Then we go into the month from hell...The Sunday after my birthday I get a call from my cousin Kandy that they found Rick dead in his apartment. I think I had to listen to that voice mail like 5 times before it really sunk in. I made the call to my mom to let her know, which was hard cause I could hardly stop the tears to tell her. She came over, I calmed down enough to get over to my aunt's. Donnie was happy for the company. Kandy got there shortly after I did. We couldn't get a hold of my aunt, which turned out to be the best thing really. She got there thinking it was grandma (I wish!), and it turned out to be the worse news ever. He was 45 going on 46. He had diabetes and high blood pressure with no insurance to cover the meds. The high blood pressure was what did him in. During his sleep (best thing of the whole thing). I took Monday off for a day to recover and let it sink in. I miss him so much. It was just so unexpected. Hardest holiday season coming up. We'll make it though! Thursday was the viewing which was all the I could really take of it. Friday was the funeral that I didn't go to cause I just couldn't do it. I missed my dad, but that's okay, I was in the middle of nature taking it all in.
And then, Wednesday I think it was. Adam broke up with me. Which I think I agree. I was just shocked and I sent my messages and I was over it. No tears. Guess I was still at my low with my cousin's death. Don't know. But I mean I can tell people about Adam breaking up with me and no emotion what-so-ever, but I mention Rick and tears just start to come.
Halloween was awesome. I got to go trick-or-treating with some kids that I baby-sat. I didn't really have anything else going on, so why not. I just did a Ravenclaw student going off grounds basically.
I made contact again with F and A. It was nice to talk with them. I also fixed my computer all by myself this time! Rock on!!!!
Oh and for everyone else. Yes I did move. I'm living on my own now. YAY!! I at least accomplished one thing this year. Well, time to walk the dog. Peace!
