Sooyoung’s POV
I had to get away I never felt this way before, I felt like a nervous wreck who the hell what’s to be a nervous wreck not me. I never felt like this about a guy, I mean I have had crushes but they never gave me this feeling, and it’s only been the frigging first day. I was too busy cursing myself that I didn’t realise someone had walked into the classroom. “Hmm, Sooyoung ah?” I jumped that knocked me out of my thoughts, I looked down to see who called my name, my eyes almost popped out of my head; something started fluttering in my stomach. Oh god, please don’t tell me its butterflies.
“Ah, yes Kyuhyun ssi?””I was wondering where you were off to” Kyuhyun said, his voice was so velvety he started walking up the aisle. “Oh, I wanted to get a good start on the work” I said. He was already beside me sitting down in his seat.
“Oh okay” he said relaxing in his chair, “Why were you even wondering?” I asked looking at him. “Eh, I wasn't wondering” he said flabbergasted, “But you just sa...” Kyuhyun cut her off by quickly saying “That's not what I meant alright?” “Alright take a chill pill” Sooyoung, Kyuhyun glared at her. People started to come in for class by now, I fully turned my body away from him. I looked down near the door and saw Yuri and Leeteuk coming in they seemed to get closer by each minute.
“It seems they’re getting along” Kyuhyun said unpleasantly I looked at him he had a scowl on his face looking straight ahead. I turned around to see Yuri and Leeteuk coming and sitting down next to me. “Hey Sooyoungie” Yuri said smiling so brightly. “Eh, Kyuhyun so this is where you went to?””Ah, yeah” Kyuhyun leaned forward when he said that he glanced towards me and quickly looked away.
Once again class finished for the day. Kyuhyun was the first to leave, I watched him go, shaking my head.”Ah, Sooyoung I’m going to go with Leeteuk to the cafe” Yuri said, “Ah okay sure, have fun” I said and walked down the hall. I heard a voice, a singing voice, it sounded so cool and smooth. The voice sounded closer I looked through one of the doors, it had a window at the top so you could see through it, I looked in and notice it was Kyuhyun.
Wow he sounds great; his voice sounded like velvet, so silky and smooth. I slowly opened the door and closed it behind me. Kyuhyun’s back was facing me so he didn’t know I was there, I sat down on one of the chairs and listened until he finished.
Yoona’s POV
Class finished, I walked out of the classroom I was going to wait outside Hyoyeon’s classroom for her and well, see Donghae. But I decided against that idea and walked down the hall to the drink fountain. I sipped the water as I turned around I bumped into someone “Oh, I’m sorry I wasn’t looking””Aye, don’t worry about it, I’m lucky bumping into you” I looked up it was Donghae I started to feel my face going hot.
“So, are you ready for that dance lesson?””Now!?” I asked shocked. “No time like the present” he said smiling brightly. “Ah ok sure, I just have to tell the girls I’ll be home late””Don’t worry about that I already told Hyoyeon” he said now grinning. “Let’s go shall we” he said leading me.
We walked into the dance room; Donghae put his stuff down and turned towards the CD player. “I’ll show you first then I’ll teach you””Okay show me your skills then” I said grinning, where did that come from. He looked at me and started grinning. The music started and so did Donghae, he was brilliant, the way he moved the way he hit the right beats. You could tell he loved dancing he put so much effort into it and was grinning like he had just won an award of being the best dancer.
I was hooked in he was great to watch I couldn’t help but grin like a silly fan girl. The music stopped and so did he, he was looking at me, he walked over to me and holds out his hand. I looked at it for a second and then gently laid my hand in his, he pulled me up. Still holding onto my hand we walked to the middle of the room. He started showing me the steps at first I was nervous but then I got the hang of it, after a while Donghae put on the music to try dancing to it.
After some hours, laughter filled the room as we both sat down against the mirror, both sweaty from the dancing. I turned my head so I could see him better “Thank you for teaching me, I had a great time” I said smiling.”Any time” he said looking at me. We both just sat there staring at each other for some time. Donghae started moving closer our noses touching but he stopped moving but stayed where he was. “Sorry” he said and was moving back. I felt I lost something, so without thinking I leaned into him and kissed him.
After a few minutes we parted, I opened my eyes and looked at him, he opened his eyes and had a make a girl go gooey inside smile, I giggled. “I think I could really fall hard for you Yoona “he said looking at me. “I think I could too for you” I said smiling. He put his arm around my waist and dragged me closer and kissed my temple.
Kyuhyun’s POV
I needed time to think, about my feelings, about....Sooyoung. I never really had a girl affect me the way Sooyoung is affecting me now. All I had on my mind was work and work to get where you want to be. Somehow Sooyoung is different I have an urge to pursue her, to run up to her wrap my arms around her and kiss her like there’s no tomorrow. But that’s not me, argh this frustrating.
So when class finished, I had to get out of there fast, I needed to think, so I do what I always do I go to the music room and sing my thoughts out. I was singing about everything that went through my head, my singing was about her. Once I finished singing I turned around and almost knocked myself down, there she was smiling brightly at me.
“Ah...Sooyoung ah what are you doing here?” staring at her like I’ve been hit in the face.”Well I was walking down and I heard this wonderful, amazing voice, I notice it was you so I decided to come in” she said like it was no big deal. “Oh well then, wait you think I have an amazing voice?” I asked feeling a warm feeling inside my stomach.
“Of course hasn’t anyone told you that before?” she said with a gleam in her eyes. “Well no one really knows I can sing, I sing when I need to think” I said looking away from her. “Oh. Well it’s a privileged to listen to you” she said standing up.
She was tall; the jeans she was wearing did wonders for her legs, and had a great figure. Her hair just below her shoulders a dark chocolate brown, her eyes dark chocolate, I must of looked stupid blankly staring at her she defiantly was something. I snapped out of my trance and saw her moving to the door”Um, where are you going?” I asked awkwardly, walking over to her. “I got to get home, the girls are probably worried” she said turning towards me “Oh okay, well I’ll see you tomorrow then” I said trying to cover the hint of sadness. “You defiantly will” she smiled and winked and was out the door.
I think I don’t need any more time to think smiling at the closed door; I turned around grabbed my things and walked out.
Sooyoung’s POV
As I walked out of the room, I couldn’t help the smile that was plastered upon my face; I started to hum the song Kyuhyun was singing down the hall. “Ahh” I bumped into someone and was surprised it was Yoona. “Yoona what you still doing here?” I asked still surprised. “I was having a dance lesson” she said her lashes shyly covering her doe eyes.
“Dance, you've taken up dance?” I asked staring at her. “Yes””Ah, Yoona wait up!”Both Yoona and I looked behind her. Donghae was coming up; I looked at Yoona her eyes livened when she spotted Donghae. “Oh a dance lesson “I said nudging Yoona. “No it’s not like that” she said giving me the most deadly glare, “He just asked me if I would like him to teach me, and I said yes”.
I looked up Donghae was locking the door for the classroom, I know Yoona “Is that all?”She looked at me then gave in, “Okay we like each other, and it’s only early days” she had her brightest smile on so you could tell she was the happiest girl at this moment. “Aw, Yoona that’s great” I hugged her.
Donghae came up to us a nervous smile on his face. “I guess I’ll be going, have fun you too see you at home Yoona” I waved them off and walked home. When I got home Taeyeon was in the living room watching TV. She looked up at me “Why are you so late coming home?””Oh I got sidetrack doing something at school” I said moving across the room. “Dinner’s almost ready” Taeyeon shouted out to me “Yep, okay” I shouted back going into my room.
I laid on my bed thinking. That voice it truly was amazing I would start fan girling over if my mind went wondering to those lips, those pink pouty lips oh my god what am I going on about, I turned over and put my pillow over my head and shut my eyes real tight. But pictures of him came up so fast in my mind. I chucked away my pillow and let out a short scream. I went into the bathroom to wash my face “I don’t like this feeling” I said aloud to myself. I headed back to my room, lay down on my bed and pulled the covers over me.
Yoona’s POV
“Thank you for this afternoon, I appreciated it” I said to Donghae as he walked me my door. “Any time, I’ll pick you up tomorrow and we’ll go to uni together?” “I would love that, good bye” I pressed my lips to his cheek and walked inside. “Hey, Yoona how did dance lessons go?” Hyoyeon asked wriggling her eyebrows. “Fine, they went fine” I said dreamily and headed towards my room, “Eh, dinner’s ready tell Sooyoung its ready to please” Hyoyeon shouted.
I walked into mine and Sooyoung’s room sat my stuff down and walked towards Sooyoung. “Eh, unni are you alright?” I asked gently. “No I’m not” Sooyoung said grumpily. “Why what’s wrong you seemed fine when I saw you before” I said pulling down the sheet to see her face, she looked miserable. “I hate this feeling” she mumbled, “What do you mean what feeling?” I asked. “That warm gooey feeling” she said covering face with her hands.
Ahh, I know what this is about I thought to myself, smiling at the thought. “Unni is this about Kyuhyun oppa?” All of a sudden Sooyoung jumped out of her bed “Of course it’s not about Kyuhyun, why would it be about him?”Sooyoung was shouting now, then she collapsed on the floor” I don’t like him, I don’t know what I want”, “Hey, it’s okay, you can’t help what you feel but I think this will be good for you” I said sitting down next to her wrapping my arms around her. “Pfft. Good for me what is?” she asked muffled by my shirt. “He is, now come on let’s have dinner.” We both got up and walked out to dinner.
It was morning I was up bright and early; I looked over at Sooyoung she was snoring softly I smiled at that and went off to get ready. The knock at the door came, I just finished my breakfast I walked to the door and opened it. My heart fluttered seeing his perfect smile shining at me. “Good morning beautiful” Donghae said. “Good morning, let me go and get my bag” I walked into my room grabbed my bag and almost walked out the door “Your leaving early” I heard Sooyoung say her voice full of sleep. “Donghae is taking me today”. “Oh, okay be safe” she said getting up and walking to the bathroom.
I walked out to the front door “Ok all set” I grinned at Donghae and closed the front door.
Hyoyeon’s POV
Got up usual time got dressed and went out to make breakfast for the girls. I saw Sooyoung walking down the hall “Good morning Soo” I said cheerfully. She had her head down all that came out of her was “Humph”. I wondered what was all that about. I finished cooking breakfast and laid out the table, I knocked on each bedroom door in a special way signalling breakfast. They all started pouring out of their rooms and sitting down at the table. “Mmm, smells good Hyo” Yuri said. “Just hope it tastes good” I said. Sooyoung came down and sat in a chair; everyone looked at her but kept quiet.
“Eh, where’s Yoona” Jessica said. I looked around she isn’t here. “She went to uni early” we heard Sooyoung say from her bowl “Oh okay, well come on finish up so we won’t be late “Taeyeon said eating out of her bowl like a pig.
We reached uni, getting out of the van I started walking up with Sooyoung “Hey is everything alright?” I asked her wrapping my arm around her waist.”Yep, I’m fine if anything happens I’ll tell you” she said smiling at me. “Hmm ok. Yoona got a lift from Donghae this morning didn’t she?” I asked with a mischief voice. “You know about them too?” she asked. “Of course” I said.
It was time for class I waited outside the door before going in. More people from class started showing up; the teacher was running a bit late. Two hands came around and covered my eyes I reached up and touched them. “Guess who?”The person whispered in my ear.
I smiled once I heard the voice. “Eunhyuk” I said turning around still smiling. “You guessed right” he said grinning. “I guess those two have hit it off” he said pointing to Yoona and Donghae leaning into each other, hands twined. “I suppose they have” I said smiling at them then looking at him. He was looking at me smiling. “Hey, do you want to hang out this afternoon?” he asked---“Okay class lets go in” the teacher said before I could say anything. “Tell me later” he said and we both walked in.
After class finished, we were wiping the sweat off of us with towels. “Have I ever told you you’re really great at dancing” Eunhyuk said staring at me. “I don’t believe you have, thank you” I said grinning. “About what you asked me before, I would love to” “Well great” he said matching the same grin as mine. “Aw, are you two in love?” Donghae came up behind us grinning, “Like you can talk” Eunhyuk said looking away, he looked like he was going red. I smiled at that. “Least I admit it.” “Hey about you two and me and Yoona go out together this afternoon?” Donghae asked. Eunhyuk looked at me, “I don’t mind” I said smiling up at him. He sighed “Sure lets go”.
Eunhyuk’s POV
I wanted it to be just me and her but Donghae had to butt in and say let’s go together, damn him. So here we are Donghae and Yoona are ahead of us holding hands, Yoona leaning into him giggling once Donghae says something funny.
Right now I kind of envy them, I looked in the corner of my eye Hyoyeon, smiling like the sunshine. I had a nerve to reach down and grab hold of her hand but thought better of it. We went and got ice creams and sat at a picnic table in the park.
The lovey dovey couple were kind of making me nausea, they were playing with their ice creams when Donghae dabbed his cone on Yoona’s nose which left ice cream on the top of her nose, they started laughing when Donghae leaned over, wrapped his arms around her pulling her close and kissed her nose to get rid of the ice cream both started giggling. I looked over at Hyoyeon “Hey do you want to get away?” I asked her, “Yes!” she said with a face saying relief.
We were walking around the park in silence but it was a comfortable silence. “I love when the flowers are in bloom” Hyoyeon spoke up. “Yeah it is nice, beautiful you could say” I said finding a park bench to sit down on, she sat next to me. “I’m glad we’re by ourselves now” I said waiting for her reply.
She looked up and smiled “Me too”. I grinned at her. “We should do this more often but, you know not with the two love birds” she said smiling, “Oh you can bet on that, don’t worry” I reached down with my left hand and got on hold of her right hand, relaxing that she didn’t pull away turned to watch kids play soccer.
Sooyoung’s POV
I didn’t sit in my usual spot today in class. I didn’t have the strength to sit next to him and pretend that this stupid feeling wasn’t there in my stomach. Yuri was confused too I looked over at her ,she mouthed “Why are you sitting there?” I mouthed back “For a change”.
My eyes drifted to the left and saw Kyuhyun watching me I quickly looked away and turned to the front, argh stupid butterflies. Class finished for the day, I got up quicker than usual and headed out the door. I saw Taeyeon waiting by the car, “Hey Soo rough day?” “Hmm, you could say that”, “Well hop in the car as soon as everyone gets here we’re out of here” “Actually I think I might walk home if that’s okay?” “Yeah that’s fine but is everything okay?” “Yeah I just need to think that’s all” “Hmm, okay”.
As I was about to leave I saw Kangin walking up to us with Ryeowook, Seohyun, Yesung and Hangeng. “Hello Sooyoung, Taeyeon”. I looked over at Seohyun and Ryeowook; they were really adorable it made me smile. Both smart and talented and into each other. “Well I’m off then see you.”
I started walking again until someone shouted my name I looked back and it was Hangeng. “Oh hi Hangeng, what’s up?” I asked, “I was just wondering if I could walk with you” he said a bit shy. “Oh I kind of want to walk by myself today, I need to clear my head” “Oh oh that’s okay maybe some other time then” he said a bit disappointed. “Yeah maybe, well see you”.
Being by myself sort of lifted my spirits, didn’t have to worry about anything, a sunny afternoon could be appreciated. I thought I was alone until I heard my name being softly called I turned to face him, I froze for a moment not knowing what to do or say. “I noticed you didn’t look so happy today” he said softly concerned written on his face. “I...I just had a restless night”, “Oh are you feeling unwell?” he asked. “No” should have said yes, the butterflies were turning her stomach upside down. “My head was full of thinking” I finished up saying. “Ah okay, do you mind if I walk with you?” he asked coming closer, “Um sure”.
We both started walking, our shoulders touching; our hands would briefly brush against each other’s which gave me a shiver down my spine. “I wrote a song. I would like you to hear to it and tell me what you think” he said looking up ahead of him. “Really you wrote a song and you want me to listen to it?”, “Of course you’re the only one who has heard me sing and think it’s a wonderful, amazing voice” he said mocking me.
“Aye, but I’ll admit I’m your number one fan” I said looking at him grinning. “My only fan” he said looking at me. We stared at each other for a moment, those damn butterflies started fluttering like crazy it was hard to control them, the only thing I could do was look away and I did.
We reached my dorm; I turned towards him he had a weird look upon his face. “What?” I asked, “You live here?” he asked looking up at the building. “Yes is that a problem?” “No it’s just that we only live three houses down from you” he said pointing down the street. I looked down the street leaned far as I could, “Really wow” I said my mouth wide open.
“Ha-ha yeah, I should go, but tomorrow after classes would you come to the music room to hear my song?” he asked looking at me with hoping in his eyes for me to say yes. “Sure, goodbye” I said and went inside.
Kyuhyun’s POV
I watched her go inside; smiling to myself that warmth inside my stomach was now sizzling. I turned walking down the street and into my dorm, the other boys were already there studying or mucking around I walked to my room where I share with Sungmin and put my stuff down. I saw Sungmin on his computer chatting away on the phone I’m guessing to Sunny they’ve hit it off quite well you could say they sort of have the same personality.
I walked out to the kitchen and sat on the stool at the bench. Hangeng was there cooking his Beijing Fried Rice, I saw him this afternoon talking to Sooyoung I couldn’t hear what they were saying but once she walked away he looked disappointed and his shoulders simply dropped as he turned and walked the other way.
“Hey Han, I saw you talking with Sooyoung today I didn’t know you were friends” I said trying to figure out what it was all about. “Oh. Well we’re not really I just wanted to see if she like company with her while walking but she said she wanted to be by herself” he simply shrugged the last bit off. As if he had the greatest idea in the world he turned to me leaning on the bench “You know her don’t you, you think you could say something about me?” once I heard that a sharp pain stabbed me right in my stomach it didn’t feel pretty.
“You like her?” I asked not wanting to hear his answer. “Yeah I do, she seems amazing and I heard she loves food I could make my famous Beijing Fried Rice to win her over” he said grinning. I felt sick in the stomach, realising I was having trouble breathing, I mumbled a sure and headed to the bathroom.
I washed my face with cold water. I looked at myself in the mirror, what’s wrong with me I asked myself. I never felt this way before, every time her name comes into conversations my head flips and listens in, when ever she’s around that feeling starts of as warm but when she starts smiling it sizzles.
My heart beats one beat faster than usual as I see her walking up the hall. Then hearing Hangeng say he likes her and he could win her over by fried rice it made restless I didn’t like it one bit. argh there is something wrong me. I had a shower then went straight to my room I didn’t feel like having dinner especially Beijing Fried Rice.
Sungmin must have gone out to have dinner; I hopped in my bed and pulled the covers over my face. Why do I feel this way about her I’ve only known her about a month now, how do I explain these feelings I asked myself.
As if it hit me as a bullet I moved the covers from my face oh god I’m in love with her.
Donghae’s POV
As I did yesterday I drove Yoona to uni today, she fit perfectly beside me I was happy I found someone like her I never thought I would, never thought I could feel this way till now. I removed my eyes from the road and on to her she was smiling brightly which made me smile, she notice I was staring “Donghae keep an eye on the road” she said smiling “I can’t help it your too beautiful” I grinned then turned my eyes back to the road.
We got to school; we walked up the hall holding hands. We walked to a seat out in the court yard; she sat normally where as I sat on the seat like I was riding a horse and dragged her closer to me kissing her temple, wrapping my arms around her waist securely. “Do you have any plans tomorrow knowing that it is the weekend?” I asked snuggling her closer resting my head on her shoulder. “Nope do you have something in mind Donghae?” she asked turning her head towards me our noses touching. Kissing her nose “I do in fact we could have a date”
Watching her actions were funny to watch at first her doe eyes were blank, and then they filled with excitement showing her excitement reached out and wrapped her arms around my neck pulling me down. “Ahh, yes Donghae where will we go?” she asked her arms still wrapped around my neck. “It’s a surprise, I want to surprise you” I said pulling her back looking into her eyes. “Oh, Donghae your amazing” once again she jumped on me which made me fall off the seat with her on top of me. We both started laughing; we got up after awhile and went for class my arm wrapped around her waist.
Sooyoung’s POV
I woke up this morning with a smile on my face, having the littlest memory of my dream; all I could get out of it was that Kyuhyun was in it. Once I heard that name my smile turned into a toothy grin, getting out of bed then making my bed I went into the bathroom to get ready while my mind was occupied of Kyuhyun.
I might sit back in my normal spot today in class I thought smiling and then lunch time will come and he would sing the song he wrote and he will ask what I thought of it. I walked down to the kitchen, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sunny were already there. “Hello girls, how are we this morning?” I asked overly cheerful. “What’s gotten into you this morning just yesterday you were moping about” Yuri asked. “It’s just a lovely day” I said sitting down grabbing a bowl that Hyoyeon cooked.
“Well Leeteuk and I are officially dating” Yuri said grinning from ear to ear. “Well congrats” Sunny said “Me and Sungmin are too” she added also grinning “Wow love is in the air” I said smiling. “Things between me Eunhyuk are going quite smoothly I’m really happy” Hyoyeon said smiling. “Awww that’s so cute” all of us said. “So Sooyoung do you have anyone in mind?” I blushed looking into my bowl. “Not particularly” was all I said. “Oh my god she does” they all shouted.
Which made the five others come down stairs wondering what is the entire racket about. “Eh what’s going on?” Jessica asked coldly. “Sooyoung has a boy she won’t tell us about” the other three shouted. The rest crowded around me questioning me. “Eh, come on look I’ve been with Junsu for almost 2 years now, Tiffany is with Si won, Jessica has a flirty relationship with Heechul and sweet Seohyun is in a relationship with intelligent Ryeowook - Seohyun blushed at that. And Yoona is absolutely crazy for Donghae, so tell us” Taeyeon urged me.
I saw Yuri staring at me trying to think hard then her facial expression changed “Oh my god I can’t believe I totally spaced out on that its KYUHYUN!!” she shouted, everyone looked at Yuri first then at me. “Ahhhhh” they all screamed excitedly. “Guys please stop its nothing” I said trying to settle them down it wasn’t working. “Do you love him?”Tiffany asked and all of them started giggling.
“You guys are silly I’m going to wait in the car”. “Sooyoung and Kyuhyun sitting in a tree...” was all I heard as I shut the door behind me. We reached uni but as we got there so did the boys I started to put my head down. “Oh look Sooyoung looks who’s here” Sunny said giggling.
We got out and every one of the girls looked at Kyuhyun in a cheeky way or said “Hello Kyuhyun” in a cheeky way. I just shook my head. We looked at each other and smiled. We sat together in class, every three minutes or so I would take glances at him in the corner of my eye then look away. One stage he caught me I slink further in my chair going red.
We were in the music room; he started singing, his voice swiftly moved through the air I watched him watching me as he sang. A shiver went down my spine, butterflies dangerously fluttered in the pit of stomach. His stare, his voice, his eyes, the lyrics that touch the heart and then it hit me; I’m in love with him.
Kyuhyun’s POV
I finished singing and waited for her to say something or clap or anything yet she just sat there staring at me wide eyes open as if she seen a ghost. “It was that bad huh?” I said dragging my hand through my hair. “What no. It was brilliant” she said waking up to her senses.
“So you like it, anything you don’t like about it?” I asked sitting in a chair next to her. “Not a thing, I thought your voice was great, the lyrics were perfect its liken to melt a heart and posture was very good” she said moving away from me. I started laughing, “Well thanks I’m glad my posture is good”. She laughed nervously. “Is everything okay?” I asked her concerned. “Nothing why would you ask that?” She said looking up at me. “You just seem edgy that’s all” I told her with curious eyes.
Without even thinking I leaned over and kissed her on the lips, her soft perfect lips. It was just a soft kiss, gentle that lasted no less than a minute. I parted from her slowly opening my eyes, her eyes fluttered open she stared blankly at me.
Silence filled the air “Sooyoung ssi... I have feelings for you deep feelings” I said cutting the silence looking into her eyes. “I...I got to go” she said as she got up to the door. “No wait I want you to hear me out” I said grabbing her wrist and turning her around. “I don’t want these feelings, I don’t want to feel this way!” she shouted her head hanging down. I was speechless at first then my heart pounded against my chest realising what she just said.
I walked closer to her an inch away from each other “Sooyoung ssi I like you. A lot and I’m guessing you feel the same way” I reached down grabbed hold of her hand and continued
“The first day I met you, never thought anything about you, I just thought you were a very attractive girl and ignored the warm feeling in my stomach but then that day when you heard me sing and said my voice was wonderful amazing and that you were my number one fan that warm feeling started sizzling and then walking you home, I could say that’s been the best afternoon I had in a long time” I said smiling “Then that night I was restless I couldn’t get to sleep you were in my head..Then I realised I’m in love with you” I whispered the last line, she gasped.
Her eyes finally lifted from the floor to my face she’s been crying, a tear streak was shown trailing down her cheek my heart broke a little, I lifted my free hand and wiped her tear away then I felt her hand tug away from mine she was gone.
Yoona’s POV
I was lying on my bed reading a monologue I had to study when Sooyoung came through crying she looked like she was braking. I quickly got up from my bed and ran to her hugging her we fell to the ground, her tears soaking my jacket. “He told me he loved me and I ran away”.
She let out an awfully heart braking sob all I could do was hold her tight rocking her softly. The rest of the girls came in wondering what was going on when they saw the two of us on the floor and hearing Sooyoung’s dragging sobs. They all gathered around us sitting in a circle down on their knees they wrapped their arms around us in a big hug.
We stayed like that for at least half an hour once Sooyoung’s breathing was settled we all sat on my bed with two buckets of ice cream, “Sooyoung ah we are always here for you okay, so don’t keep things to yourself it’s bad for you” Taeyeon said who had her arm around Sooyoung’s shoulders, her hand pressing Sooyoung’s head onto her shoulder while stroking her hair.
The rest of the night was filled of laughter and jokes even got a smile out of Sooyoung, I woke up I looked towards the clock on the stand next to my bed 8:30 it read I moaned a little looking over, my hand was twined with Sooyoung’s her head was resting on Taeyeon’s shoulder, Taeyeon’s legs were covered by Tiffany’s head, lying on Tiffany’s stomach Jessica’s head rested softly, upon Jessica Sunny’s head, on Sooyoung’s legs there laid a peaceful Yuri. I looked towards the floor there laid peacefully Hyoyeon and Seohyun sleeping. Hyoyeon’s head on Seohyun’s legs and melted ice cream near them.
I smiled at that we’re one big happy family, just then my phone started ringing which didn’t sit well with the others they all started to moan in annoyance. “Ai, turn that off “yelled Yuri turning over. “Sorry, sorry” I said as unattached myself from Sooyoung and headed outside closing the door behind me.
“Hello” I whispered. “Why are you whispering?” the voice on the other end asked. “Ah, Donghae oh the rest of the girls are sleeping still”, “Ah, right I was wondering if all of you would be ready in an hour?” “Eh, why?” I asked confused. “Well the boys only just realised you guys’ just live three houses down so they figured to come over and have a BBQ” “Oh, um” Sooyoung and Kyuhyun popped in my head it would hurt them to be in c lose proximity at the moment.
“Sorry Yoona we’re all coming over in an hour” I heard Eetuek yell in the background. “Ah sorry about him he’s so pushy at times if you don’t want us there we won’t come” Donghae said sincere. “No I guess its fine”. “I’ll see you soon” then he hanged up. Oh no what did I just agreed to I went in to wake the girls and tell them that they would have company soon. I walked in they all looked so peaceful I started wriggling Yuri’s foot but all I gotten was grunts.
Then I did what would work “The boys are coming down in an hour for a BBQ so you better get up now” I shouted and as I expected they woke jumping up racing out of the room except Taeyeon and Sooyoung, I looked towards Sooyoung she stared at me like she couldn’t believe it.
“How can I face him after what I did yesterday” Sooyoung said just above a whisper tears threatening to spill out. “Hey you don’t have to okay” Taeyeon said softly dragging her hand through Sooyoung’s hair. “No I have to, I have to tell him I love him too” Sooyoung said sitting up straight wiping away the tears that had threatened to come down. “I love him” she said all so quietly. “We know you do, how about you go for a shower and get all clean just for him” I said dragging her up and walking her to the bathroom.
The knock on the door came and everyone was still fussing about I opened the door and almost got stumbled on “Eh Welcome guys” “Thanks Yoona, where’s the kitchen?” Hangeng asked I pointed the direction and off he went. As Kyuhyun came in I felt for him he looked like a mess. Donghae came up behind him and patted him on the shoulder as Kyuhyun walked off. “He’s been depressed all morning and all yesterday afternoon no one knows why” Donghae said full of concern. “Hmm” was all I could say.
Sooyoung’s POV
I could hear everyone laughing down stairs, I looked at myself in the mirror I put on a sunny dress not really what I would wear just around the house but I wanted to today. I started walking down the stairs the laughter got louder they were outside I walked out everyone’s eyes were on me including his, “Where have you been hiding Sooyoung ah?” Kangin called out.
Hangeng jumped out of his chair “Well aren’t you a pretty sight” Hangeng said smiling adoring at me “Do you mind if we could talk alone for a bit” he said without letting me reply he was dragging me off into the backyard.
“It’s a great day for a BBQ isn’t?” he said looking up at the sky “Ah yes it is” I said looking down. “You’re probably thinking why I ask to speak with you alone” he said looking at me. “Kind of””I wondered if tomorrow night you like to go on a date with me.” “What?” was all I could get out. “You and me on a date at a nice restaurant”.
I looked at him “I’m sorry Hangeng but I can’t” “Oh” was all he said. “It’s not you trust me it’s just that....I’m already like someone else”. “Right. Now, that's okay so do you want a drink?” he asked pretending that he wasn’t hurt in the slightest. “Sure”. We walked back to the others my eyes searched for one person in particular but he wasn’t there so I decided to go up to my room and sleep the rest of the day.
It’s been two weeks since what happened we haven’t even spoken to each other once I’ve been too sad to eat anything and the girls were always fussing about that and according to the girls the boys said Kyuhyun has been in depressed mode ever since. I decided, enough with this moping I was going to confess to Kyuhyun and show him how much I love him I thought up a plan, I told the girls about it and asked for their help and they asked the boys hopefully in the end my plan would be successful. Hopefully.
Kyuhyun’s POV
I was sitting alone on a bench near the car park waiting for the rest of the boys to come so we can go home. While I was waiting my mind drifted off to Sooyoung, god it crushed me went she ran out of that room, that night I crawled into my bed and let a few tears drop on my pillow. Thinking about it still hurts. Then on the weekend when she came down stairs in that dress...she was beautiful but then Hangeng jumped out of his chair and told her what a pretty sight she was then took her out into the backyard, jealously ripped through me like heart ache I had to leave so I excused myself.
It’s been ages since I talked to her or even looked at her, it’s harder than you think. Coming out of it I saw Leeteuk and Yuri coming down from the stairs, “The others are doing other things with their girlfriends so it’s just us three going home” Leeteuk said smiling down at me. “Oh okay” I said getting up and walking to the car.
It was a quiet drive with the exception of Yuri’s giggles and Teuk hyung laughing. I was looking out the window when Yuri's phone went off “Hello” Yuri said, “Ah Sunny what's up?” “Where?” “Now?” Yuri turned to Leeteuk “Sunny says we should join them at the old music building” “Then I guess we can, I don't mind” He said smiling. “Yes we'll be there we're on our way”.
“What no hyung I just want to go home I’m not in the mood” I said leaning my head back my eyes closed. “You’re never in the mood these days so it’s about time you joined us” Leeteuk said getting out of the car and opening my door. I sighed then got out of the car we walked over to the others as we walked into the building we saw the rest of them there. My eyes swiftly scanned the room for her but there was no sign of her.
Donghae and Yoona came up to me, Donghae dragged his arm over my shoulders “I hope you’re not so moody today” I looked at him “Eh what do you...” I couldn’t finish my question when Yoona started pulling us towards the closed door “He’s just worried about you” she said in her motherly tone, her eyes filled with sincere.
She opened the door and Donghae pushed me into the room, I turned around they closed the door on me and then I heard a click. “Hey, unlock this door what are you guys doing” I yelled banging on the door, “You’ll thank us later” Donghae yelled on the other side. I was just about to turn around and grab a chair or something to brake open the door, but as I turned there she was.
“Hi” she said. I finally looked away from her face and looked around the room, it was dim light there was a white piano in the corner of the room, guitar stands three in a row standing neatly together then I realised we were in a music room I looked back at Sooyoung I was about to say something but she cut me off “Wait before you say anything hear me out.”
“I’ve always wanted to have someone to love me, to be mine, and then when you appeared I started to get feelings for you, I started to get scared cause I never knew what it felt like” she took a breath “I got all nervous every time I went near you, I would get this goofy grin on my face when I just thought of you. Then when you told me you loved me I couldn't believe what I was hearing, I got scared so I left”.
This time she let out a heavy breath. “What I’m trying to say is I love you too” she said looking up at me.
I stood there like an idiot, I was frozen did she just say she loved me the most joyous feeling spread over me with that feeling in me, I crossed to her pulled her into my arms and kissed her it was soft at first till I felt her hands come up into my hair I deepened the kiss.
God it felt so good to have her in my arms, her lips on mine. We broke apart breathing heavily, our foreheads touching “You didn’t have to be scared because I love you and I want to be with you for a life time” I said ever so softly kissing her forehead. She looked at me smiling her eyes twinkling. “Say it again” she said, “I love you” I kissed her forehead “I love you” kissed her on the nose, I put my hands on either side of her face so we were looking at each other directly “I love you” and kissed her on those soft, sweet lips.
We sat on the floor against the piano; I pulled Sooyoung against me while her head was in the crook of my neck. “Why did you make me wait we could of been like this ages ago” I said kissing her temple. She moved away from me, “Would you sing for me?” she asked the twinkle still in her eyes.

Nobody’s POV
Kyuhyun finished singing and stared at Sooyoung, she was staring back at him and without a thought she jumped into his arms pushing him to the ground with her on top of him. “Ah Kyuhyun ssi” Sooyoung said her arms tight around his neck. Kyuhyun chuckled smiling into her hair. She lifted her body with her hands on either side of his face, both started to blush pink finally realising she was on top of him Sooyoung scrambled off him “Oh I’m sorry”.
Both still pink, “No its okay” Kyuhyun said. They both looked at each other and started laughing. “How about we head off and I’ll take you out on a date?” Kyuhyun asked getting up off the floor his hand holding out to Sooyoung. She took his hand “I’d love to”. Kyuhyun wrapped his arm around her waist as they walked out of the room.
Four Years Later
“Aish! Where is Yuri unni we’re about to start but she’s nowhere to be seen?” Yoona yelled frantic. “Chill Yoona ah I’m here” Yuri yelled coming through the door. “God where have you been?” Yoona said in her motherly tone fixing up Yuri’s hair, “I was with Eeteuk” “Need she say more” Tiffany called out fixing her dress. “I just want everything perfect today” Yoona said sighing as she sat down. “And it will be. Yoona its your wedding day “Sunny said with excitement.
“Yes I am a very lucky girl” Yoona said grinning from ear to ear, “You mean Donghae is a lucky guy” Yuri pointed out. “Well are you girls ready?” Sooyoung asked standing near the door. “Wait I want to see you girls in a line first so I can see what you look like” Yoona said getting up from the couch. All eight girls lined up, Yoona looked at all of them tears springing to her eyes.
“Ai, don’t make me cry”. All the girls laughed and braced their friend. Sungmin popped his head around the door “Are you guys ready?” he asked all the girls looked at him and smiled. “Let’s go it’s time for me to get married.” The big doors opened and revealed everyone inside including the groom and his 12 groom men. Taeyeon and Sunny went down the aisle followed by Tiffany and Jessica, Yuri and Hyoyeon, Sooyoung and Seohyun and then finally the bride, Yoona.
While the bride and groom were saying their vows another couple were staring at each other intently. Kyuhyun and Sooyoung saw no one else but each other, “Now you may kiss the bride” the priest called out and Donghae gave Yoona the most heart shuttering kiss, everyone cheered and watched them walk down the aisle and into their wedding car. Everyone headed to where the reception was, it was night time by the time they got there. The bride and groom had their first dance. It was getting through the night Sooyoung was standing by herself against a pillar watching all the couples dance smiling to herself when suddenly someone grabbed her hand and pulled her out into the garden.
The view was spectacular fairy lights were in the trees shining brightly, on a little table there was champagne with two glasses. “What do you think pretty aye?” Kyuhyun asked looking around at the scenery. “Yes it’s very pretty” Sooyoung still looking around. Kyuhyun watched her has he grabbed hold of her hand again.
Sooyoung looked at him “Kyuhyun ah...”, “Sooyoung ssi, I love you I would do anything for you, so I was wondering if you could do something for me” Sooyoung smiled “Anything” Kyuhyun got down on his knee “Would you marry me?” As they did five years ago her eyes widened and all she could do was nod as the tears fell down her face;
Kyuhyun put the ring on her finger and pulled her into his embrace. “I love you” Sooyoung whispered against his lips “I love you, you love me, we love each other” Kyuhyun said and sealed it with a happily ever after kiss.
