Spring?
Finally some warm and sunny weather this weekend. It is about time. The 80-85f this weekend is going to feel like a 100 degrees.
June is almost here....Really? Because it doesnt feel like it to me. This is the only Spring I remember where we didn't have the occasional warm week. We had three days around 70 a week or so ago, but that’s all. Even that was a struggle. I think this is the most miserable Spring weather I've experienced for Portland. The March thru May average temperature was 49 degrees, and the March-May total rainfall is 14.41" Put that altogether and that's a miserable combination of cold and wet during the three spring months.
This Spring is officially the 4th coldest and 2nd wettest in Portland's history.
You should see the plant life here. Everything has just exploded green and thick. It even catches the eye of people like me that should be used to it.
It has been overall dark, gray, wet and cold this Spring. It has been November for five months. I like Autumn weather, its my favorite season. But I am so ready for this to be over. After the spike in heat and sun, the clouds are supposed to move back in and the temps will be below 70 next week. But I will take what I can get this weekend.
