A pleasant January day

May 29, 2010 10:21

Yesterday we broke a temperature record.. We only hit 55f /13c for a high temp. It rained all day and the cloud cover has been so thick and low. The light levels are really low too. That 55/13 deg high means this May 28th is the coldest (high temp) May on record.  Last year we hit 86f/30c degrees on this date. This will be one of the wettest Mays ever with 4.5" rain so far for the month. We haven’t seen more than two consecutive dry days this month. This would have been a really nice day, in January. The first week of June is setting up to be even wetter.

This is a reminder that most of us around here live in a temperate rain forest.

Its been like this for many many days.
