hmmm so i really haven't updated in a long while, i'm thinking maybe i should put some substance in here too.
mexico was really good. i didn't really get the life changing experience i expected though, which really surprised me. i figured i'd end the week super psyched for Christ and all that jazz, but nothing really changed at all. i kinda just stayed the same. there was some pretty sweet stuff that came out of it though. i got to know some people in the youth group better. i got a LOT closer and more comfortable with tyler. we had some pretty sweet conversation, an oceanic kiss ;) and his mum only yelled at us a little for being too coupley! at the end of the week she did say we did a good job. so thats cool. i think his family likes me. i'm pretty happy. so yes, mexico is good and things with tyler are good. great even.
i've been doing day camps at my church this past week. got a bit of sun, which is bad because i'm un poquito sunburnt, but good because i'm getting freckles! it's been really fun and really easy. i'm working with 3rd and 4th graders, and they're all pretty much fantastic kids. it's worth being exhausted at the end of the day. fo sho fo sho. i've also got soul lib this weekend, which is this music festival thing that my church has been doing for 33 yrs now. so today i did a 12 hr park day, because i worked day camps, and then sang in the soul lib choir, and then sold corn on the cob. and tomorrow's a 12 hr day too, because i'm working the soul lib kids festival and then singing again. i'm so busy, its rididonkulous.
so for the rest of my summer, i'm off work for a week. then science day camp for a week, straight into family vacation at the cottage in michigan. and on the way home from michigan, i'm being dropped off at honey rock. for those of you who haven't heard me talk about honey rock, it is the most fantastic camp in the world. no joke. i went for three years as a camper, and now i'm a counselor. it's the place where i feel the closest to God, so i'm excited to go see what happens this year. hopefully it'll be good stuff. then after HR, i'm back for about a week or so, then i go to Denver to see Miss B!!!!!!! i'm so psyched for that. i miss her so much. and it'll just be fun to travel with SOD. although at the same time, there'll probably be some major drama. and just people getting on each others nerves like whoa. thats just how our family works.
soooooo yeah. i should probably sleep because i have a long day tomorrow. i need energy.
