Years later...
Well hello there. I have come back to update this journal mainly for my own enjoyment. I can't promise that I'll continue it or not. Who knows?
Now, where to begin...
Well, considering that its been almost two years since I last updated, I have a lot to say. But, I'll try and sum it up as best as I can. First off, I am no longer friends with Lora Harrison. Not because we had an argument or anything like that, just because we drifted apart. I am still friends with Ashley Musgrave and Britny Kellum, but barely. We also have drifted. I now spend most of my time with my best friends Rachel Jones, Kate Krasova, and Janey Joiner...oh, and Ryan I suppose, though I don't really consider him a best friend. Now, to my love life. I don't believe that I ever mentioned that Luke and I broke up. Well, we did. We only dated for about a month and a half. He is now in the army and is over in Iraq, God bless him. We still keep in touch and are friends, but I really don't see why I ever dated him. You live and learn I suppose. I have also dated another guy, Chip Read. That got started around the time of the musical I was in, Cinderella. We've known each other for awhile, but were never good friends. We went to prom together (that's mainly why we started dating) and shortly after that I broke up with him. Not only because we had our differences and I could never act like myself around, but also because he tried to get in my pants on prom night. I certainly am not that kind of girl. The relationship also lasted for about a month and a half. My current love interest will remain a secret for now considering that I really can't do anything for another year. I mean I could, but I refuse to. Lets just say that I like this little "amphibious" friend of mine. No more details than that.
Ah, I haven't really said much about my actual self yet. I am now eighteen years young and am currently unemployed. I quite Burger King last summer. I wasn't too keen on the place when it went under new management. I have successfully graduated Princeton High School and am taking a year off before going to IVCC for two years and then transferring to a college that has yet to be decided. I plan on majoring in art and becoming an art teacher as of right now, but that's still up in the air.
My sister is now twenty-six and happily married to Mickel and currently lives in Holland. My brother is now twelve years young and is still as interesting as ever. My mother is fifty-four and my father is sixty. They are both still going strong, with a few minor set backs involving health. My family is planning on moving pretty soon because we can no longer afford to remain in Tiskilwa. Not because my father was fired or anything, just because the church can't afford to pay a preacher full-time, which is understandable of course. I do not plan on moving along with my family, I choose to remain right here in Tiskilwa (or at least in the area). I see not point in me moving. My college is here, my best friends that I've ever had are here, and I just love the surrounding area that I live in. If/when the time comes, I am going to live with my friend Rachel Jones for a few months until I have enough money for my own apartment (of course I need a job first, which I'm working on). Then I plan on living in that apartment for about a year and then take spring classes with my friend Kate Krasova, whom is graduating mid-term. We plan on living together over in Peru (near where IVCC is), later to be joined by Rachel and Janey after they graduate.
Oh, and I just finished the seventh and final Harry Potter book. I laughed, I cried, it was great!
Well, that's basically the gist of my life. I may post more about what is currently going on in my life, but I can't promise anything.
