I can't believe it's taken me this long to say this, but I'm never purchasing anything from Gamestop again. I always knew they were a terrible business, but I refuse to support them in any way now after what just transpired to day. Never before have I ever left Gamestop with such a bitter taste in my mouth, and never before have I ever felt so ripped off than I have today. I hope they run of business, but they probably never will anytime soon since idiots (like me) continue to trade shit in to them instead of doing the smart thing and selling it online or something. I would have followed my own proclamation today if anything; those bastards just got lucky I really couldn't wait for Blazblue any longer.
That said, I caved in and got Blazblue: Continuum Shift, despite knowing that I'll probably end up playing it for two weeks before putting it down forever. I wasn't planning on getting it at all, but there were a lot of factors that ended up swaying my decision to the side of good:
- My friend also ended up buying CS, so we scrubs can now play each other. \o/
- I really did enjoy vanilla Blazblue, so I wanted to support the series and Aksys since they too are awesome.
- Confusing as it is, I am interested in the story of a fighting game. That alone is an amazing accomplishment.
- I couldn't contain myself any longer after discovering the potential DLC character named Platinum. >_>
So yeah, if anyone wants to use me as a punching bag, then I'll be up to play some matches online. I would have gotten the 360 version, but since Microsoft likes making terrible systems, I ended up getting it on the PS3.
