(no subject)
I haven't really posted for a while so I guess I'll make an update while I'm on lunch at work.
This is my last week working full time at CSM Media.
I'm having surgery on the 18th and I'll be out for about 2 weeks from that. Then I go back to school in September for Digital Graphics Communications(Print/Graphic Design). I'm not entirely sure if it's the end of the road for me or not. I need to see how I feel about going back to school I guess. I will either just do whatever Job I can find that is relevant, or I might go to ACAD for design. No idea yet. That's another 4 years of school + like 40k in the end. I had to get a student loan just to go to SAIT, so who knows. Maybe I will just get a job in print and buy a house. Just to do something with my life.
Blair and I have moved back into my dads house so I can afford to go to school. I'll only be working 2-3 days a week and 4 hour shifts. I am not entirely sure whether or not I want a car. My great grandmother is giving me her car, but that's about 400 dollars a month to have and drive. But I would spend 3 hours a day on the bus the days I would work and go to school. I am not sure which is worse.
I don't really know what times my classes are at right now, they seem to go from 8 or 9 am to 5:30 with ridiculous breaks inbetween. But it says the classes overlap so I guess they're still working it out.
We bought a new bed and couch. I sold my old one to Colin. It was a 1400 dollar couch I paid 600 for and I sold it to Colin for 500. I also sold him my coffee table to him for 200. Now I just need to get him to pay me! Haha. I bought all my furniture on a brick card so it won't be a big deal if he pays me every paycheck. I got a 1600 dollar mattress for 900 dollars and a 1000 dollar couch for 445. I think that's a pretty sweet deal. We got a reclining loveseat since it will fit in our bedroom better.
I will post pictures of our new room. The hardwood is slowly progressing throughout the house and we've cleaned out some rooms and the bathroom we put all new stuff in. It's looking like a nice house again. I think it will be a fresh start for my dad.
