Self-prompt: Gap year fic prompted to me by another anon, they know who they are. I know that Nick and David spent their gap years' in completely different parts of the world... this is a 'might have been'. I'm hoping that by posting the first part of it I will be sufficiently motivated to finish it. Here we go then.

Self-prompt: In the aftermath of the House of Lords reform and constituency review debacles, Nick is dealing with the difficulties that have arisen from finding himself infatuated with the two most powerful men in the Conservative party, at the same time as struggling to control the all-out war the two government parties have declared on each other.
