So, I may or may not have a certain inordinate fondness for this Celine Dion song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yu5VmJGTMos - which I blame entirely on listening too much to it during formative teenage years, etc, never mind that it is Celine Dion.

BUT. Come on, this song is perfect for Clameron, yes? Secret!repressed!passionate!affair!

Let's assume for a minute that though these walls (of Westminster) cannot talk to humans, they can talk to each other. In short, Clameron from the outsider point of view of Number Ten/The Houses of Parliament/other appropriate place they decide to have ill-advised sekrit sexins in.

I love this idea! How much history those walls have seen. It would so much fun to develop their characters. I have to finish my thesis draft and finish Charity, but if no one's filled this in about a week, I may take a shot. :)

It's not as unusual as one might think. When you've been around for as long as - well, from the beginning, really, you are your own universe, after all, and the outside world is of no importance to you - you see all kinds of things.

Power is the currency here and sex simply a way of establishing superiority, a way to form and strengthen alliances.

What is rather unusual, however, is their familiarity, the way they lean against each other - so close you can hear their heartbeats - and breathe across each other's necks 'I…' and 'I know, David, I… I know.'
