"In breaking news, it is now being confirmed that there has been a suspicious death inside of Ten Downing Street. The victim's name has not been released, nor has any identifying information. Police are investigating and hope to have a suspect in custody in the following days.

Though no information is being released on the victim or any suspects, it has been said that the victim was not part of the cabinet, nor an MP.

This leads our investigative team to believe a civil servant or a political aide is the deceased.

More later when this story develops."

The first time the police made their way through Downing Street, they were just questioning everyone to try and figure out what had happened there. All David knew was that he'd been coming downstairs for his morning run at about six am when he heard the screams of terror. Apparently they had just found her. Lying there, dead and in a pool of her own blood.

David didn't go to see it; he couldn't. He knew he wouldn't be able to handle that kind of thing. Feeling absolutely terrible, David waited patiently for the police to come to his office and question him. He recognised her from the photograph they showed him, but he didn't know her name. She worked mostly with the Lib Dems, but he'd seen her a few times with Nick and Danny when they needed her help. She was young, pretty, and absolutely did not deserve what had happened to her.

The police told him they didn't know if it was an accident or on purpose yet, but they did know that someone else had been with her when it happened in all likelihood.

David asked if he could be the one to notify next of kin.

Police have released the name and job title of the woman declared deceased at Downing Street on the morning of the 10th. Estimated time of death was at 2:47 AM.

Woman's name is given as Alexandra Heathcote. She was a press aide working for the Liberal Democratic party.

No details yet given on the exact circumstances of Miss Heathcote's death.

Cause of death listed as a blow to the back of the head.

The second time the police came to Downing Street, it was to take Nick in for questioning.

David had been so confused about why on earth they would need to take Nick in, of all people. Nick had nothing to do with it. He had been at home that night. Everyone had. And it wasn't like Nick was capable of hurting anyone, and if Nick knew something, David was confident he would have been the first to volunteer the information.

Later that day, David found out by way of rumour that apparently the last time anyone had really taken notice of Miss Heathcote was when she was being shouted at by one Nick Clegg.

But Nick never, ever yelled. David hadn't even been yelled at by Nick, and Nick had more than a hundred reasons to shout at him on a daily basis.

So David thought that rumour must have just been speculation and way off base, but he kept hearing it. David didn't let himself believe it until William told him that he had witnessed the incident himself.

David still wasn't convinced that Nick had done anything, though, and he knew the police weren't either because they had just taken him in for questioning, not arresting him for murder.
