[Presea's first thought, on finding herself shrinking to a mere two feet, was not the clothes she was suddenly drowning in, or even the axe that was now rather painfully on top of her, but to check that the keycrest and exsphere remained. Frantically lifting her hands to her neck to check, she let out out a small but relieved sigh to find that

Yep, definitely short. [in fact, Oliver's only about 30 centimetres tall and is currently wearing a torn off portion of a T-shirt] But are you okay? That axe is huge!

I thought things looked...you know, sorta differently proportioned around you. I wonder why that is.

[relieved] You're sure? That's good, at least.

[lolitatrap]

I don't know. But I can't wield it like this.

No, and I think we're going to run into bigger problems than that.

[pauses] Uh...that wasn't supposed to be a joke.

[She stares blankly at him]

[he frowns. she's more sociable than she was, but he still has trouble reading her. he definitely wasn't trying to be confusing] I just mean, there are going to be lots of things we can't use now--or even reach.

Problems getting water, and food...

Yeah... I hope nobody's shorter than I am. You and I should still be able to climb on furniture all right.

[makes a face] Most problems on the ship haven't built up like that, though. Hopefully this'll just go on for a week or so, and then we'll change back and something else will happen.
