COLOURlovers
I found this excellent website on StumbleUpon last year, but it wasn't until just recently that I started using it- COLOURlovers allows users to create colors, palettes, and patterns, and is fabulously versatile! I don't sew, myself, though I wish I did! ;_; Though I imagine a site like this could come in handy for brainstorming ideas about fashion and design.
