It has been a while since I kept this online journal for my love of lolita fashion, begin trying to make my own lolita style necklace and wristlace, and build the
site for lolita dresses at taobao price, seems all goes slow but steady. I love this. Then a couple of friends pm me and joke with me like: It's not a lolita journal if you don't have your own photos wearing lolita dresses. The truth is, they know I always feel I am very short for lolita, and unlike to wear it at public very often because of this, even more fewer photos. So here comes, under their encouragement, I have taken some photos in house. Maybe I could be bolder next step.
This skyblue lolita jumper was tailored last summer, call it half tailored because I collected all the cotton cloth, rose lace and lace for other places, the little bows, then I was too busy to really take care of it, so I asked help from a friend who loves tailoring, although not really into lolita fashion. I do love the dress and details are taken care of the way I wish, except it's a little bit long and loose. I was fatter last year. Hard work drained me.
Skyblue Lolita Jumper with White Blouse and Headdress
--My Poor Legs :(((
Both dress and blouse gets a little bit bigger for me now.
I believe this reveals why I don't have any lolita photos before this. I am a little bit "short" to wear lolita, and I always feel humbled when coming to this topic. My friend made the skirt part a little bit long, then I thought it's ok with a puffy petticoat, or a pair of high heel lolita shoes, but I don't have any of them now. Maybe after seeing so many beautiful photos from you, it gives me the encourage to show how I am.
I will need to spend some good time to find a pair of shoes or boots which could go with me, while have the incredibly high heel to surprise others, hehe, my plan for the Spring.
