all the butterflies seemed to hide
in fear of the monster that creaped and crawled
wanting everything and getting nothing at all
it smiles while it screams
haunting her thoughts not only her dreams
it steals the smiles upon her face
and scratches her heart as it starts to race
the tears they fall the cause unknown
fear it lingers with a mind of its own
