So woooooo! I'm gonna break it down into chunks so it's all easier for me to swallow, 'kay?
a) You're absolutely right! Glinda and Lolita are soldiers of a sort. They both go for the road not taken (at least not taken often) and it makes them weird, but also makes them unique individuals. I expect Lolita's bright and deep enough to appreciate Glinda's essential nature, but also she'd would be slightly put off by just how spontaneous and coughCRAZYcough Glinda can be. :D
Sooo, those are their similarities. Yes, I think they could relate to each other.
As for their major differences: Well, if they were TOO alike, they'd clash. So since they're foils to each other in some ways, they'd cancel each other out like positive and negative. Lola's negative, obviously. Ha.
I'm thinking maybe Glinda, having an inquisitive mind, just popped out of nowhere and basically interrogated Lolita? And Lolita, taken off guard, would actually answer--truthfully. Sometimes she just needs someone to talk to, because Lolita actually IS concerned about her lack of, er, impact on people sometimes. She feels that maybe she's a total failure already and should just give up since people seem to think of her as a dog of some sort. XD

c) As for Sly, I have one word: HA!!!!
lol, maybe I have more words. Duuuudde, Lolita is hit on by practically all the seventh year guys, and is probably sick and tired of it. So yesh, Sly would get TONS AND TONS of black eyes from her. She has little no tolerance for bum-pinching or innuendo and the like. ...But that is rather funneh backstory! We HAVE to thread them. We must, we must!
c) Liesl! She is cool. I don't know why. She just is. ^_^
They would clash indeed. Think: violent chemical reaction. Lolita wouldn't bat an eye if Liesl chose to name her the "Furchtbar Russian", because, actually, there IS some Russian background in her family. Wow. Liesl is smaaaaart.
d) Dex. Ha. XD Sounds okay to me! ...Do you mind if he wound up in the hospital wing afterwards? lol.
e) Eeeeeee Adelaide seems kinda anti-Lolita to me. They're too different, different to the point that Lolita might just come out and say bluntly, "Look, you're annoying the living snot out of me; please stop before my brain bleeds."
