On first looking at Mama's Kitchenaid
I haven't been doing much baking the last couple years, but I dragged the Kitchenaid out of its basement exile today to make some cookies. Squeaky saw it on the counter, without bowl or paddle, and said "What's *that*?" in tones of wonder.
Me: "It's a mixer."
Him: "Does it shoot things?"
Me: "No, it's a *mixer*. It mixes things."
Him: ::ponders a moment:: "Does it mix things *and* shoot things?"
Hee! I know Kitchenaid makes a lot of arcane culinary attachments for this appliance, but somehow I don't think "tommy gun" is one of them....
