Because getting outbid in the Sweet Charity auction year after year is just too depressing, this time I'm offering my services instead. I'll write at least 1,000 words of fanfic for any book of your choice, YES ANY, with just a few limitations (need to be able to get a hold of the book, no fic for the works of authors who hate fanfic, etc.).
This is essentially what I do for Yuletide every year -- I check off any book that I sort of enjoyed reading or that I've been wanting to read, and that has worked out pretty well for me so far. I'm still nervous about what I'm letting myself in for, but it's a good nervous. *g*
