For Temeraire: Afternoon's Liberty was written just for me! It's a look at Jane and Emily's relationship. I actually listed three possible ideas for my Temeraire request -- hmm, I wonder what prompted my Santa to choose the mother-daughter option? *g* As for Fortune, I can't quite explain the power of this story: it's a teeny missing scene from early in Black Powder War, with the characters messing around with gypsy fortune telling and foreshadowing things the reader already knows. Maybe it's just my divination kink, but this story is eerie and unexpectedly affecting.
For P.G. Wodehouse: Yes, Sir, Jeeves is brilliant in every way. Bertie Gets A Clue is comparatively plotless and a bit too sentimental for my taste, but the sex scene in perfect Bertie Wooster voice is just hysterical. This is one of those fandoms that I look forward to every year at Yuletide, and yet would never go out of my way to read during the rest of the year. It's some sort of strange Christmas tradition.
