I'm betting I could dole out hints all day and my Yuletide story would remain unguessable, but let's put that theory to the test:
Yuletide was a very different experience for me this year. The past two years, my recipients just pointed me in a general direction, and even stalking their journals didn't provide much in the way of particulars. This year, I got a very specific and enjoyably offbeat request, plus my recipient wrote a Dear Santa letter with lots of likes and dislikes, so for the first time I really felt like I was crafting a story for one particular person. It was a fun change of pace.
