How Al Started Her Day:
1. Go to the nearest town with Dad (this city is about an hour away).
2. Get out of the car, watch him drive away to the hospital and realize I didn't bring my debit card which means no money. I also didn't bring my government issue photo ID, so my nice check could not be cashed. Essentially realize I had no money.
3. Call Mom who calls my uncle who drives me to the hospital and loans me a twenty so I can get some breakfast.
4. Have a relatively unappetizing breakfast.
5. Spend the rest of the day riding the elevator (the library had nothing but medical journals and materials, way to cater to your patient's interests hospital).
I'm ready to accept my nomination for biggest lapse in intelligence now.
