conclusion
In conclusion to my barn being a pooper, I ended up getting a free ride next week which is pretty nice.
Last week we jumped (newly painted jumps! They look so good) and I think I was doing 2'9". My position and balance has improved so much. I can say that with confidence cause sailing over jumps on the hippo half out of the saddle/ half in the air/ with no reins and his unforgiving leap is better than face planting over the jumps.
Now I'm riding Strider... The hippos brother. Strider definitelt got the better half of the gene pool, but no engine.

Never had this much trouble getting a horse to go into canter, everything has to be so precise
