Sleepless in Seattle
First, I just want to say: They do not have sweet chili heat doritos in America.
Thursday: The car ride was extremely smooth, I didn't nap at all because lols were all over the place. Stopped by the Rain Forest Cafe, and had food babies, and landed safely at our hotel.
Friday: We took the bus to the convention center, reg'd, and derped. I was very surprised that some guy asked for my picture, and a bit more surprised that he knew my name let alone recognized me. I didn't even know who that guy was. We prowled the dealers room. I SPECIFICALLY told my pals not to let me spend all my money, but uh... I only brought $35 dollars.. and then they left me with shelby... so I spent all my money :I
the 6% doki doki booth was adorable, I wish I had enough money to pick up the unicorn earings :x
Cruised sixh, I seriously couldn't justify buying anything there despite how nice everything was. One of the sales associate ladies was like 'the designer made most of these limited edition items him self'. bitch, unless you have proof do not pull that on me, I took Manufacturing at fashun skool. Did a couple shots on an empty stomach, almost died. Didn't take it like a man.
They had this lame ass coat/bag check rule for the dance and the line was so long we decided to book it.
I hadn't eaten since we arrived at the con, which was like fucking water and a cookie so around 1am I was feeling pretty hungry and mad. Diabetic reaction anyone? So we got our selves to that gas station that was next door to our hotel, and ate a shitty sandwich, some NOT sweet chili heat doritos and some other crap. booo
my make up didn't look like crap at the hotel..
Saturday: went to that lunch meet up with the Seattle lolitas, they were all really sweet. The food was pretty good too :o took pictures of beards, went to some panels: Something about shape shifting demonic women of japan, some star wars panel which was super entertaining, and Zapp Branigans spaceship of love which was full of silly shenanigans. didn't go to the dance again cause everyone wanted to listen to some ladies read out really disgusting fan fic minus the harry potter one so I fell asleep. got to the hotel around 3 or 4, read some creepypastas, freaked the fuck out over one particular one, laughed for about 10 minutes at a chicken on a skate board fell asleep terrified.
sunday: two hours of sleep, kigu bonanza. Literally did nothing except pack, cruise the dealers room, attempt to line up for the fashion show, failed and went to the cheese cake factory. Oh my goddd, I had this chipotle penne with honey glazed chicken, and then for dessert white chocolate raspberry truffle cheese cake. and our sassy black waiter was such a cool dude. Mildly bummed I lost my only black corsage thing. It was only 6$ and from h&m but I loved how the petals were molded :C
on our way back I found these sweet ass star wars fruit chews, and listened to the game. too bad we lost. We'll get em tonight :D !
the very little swag I purchased:
parents gave me like a hundred short what they gave me last year mostly because I only spent like $75 last year so they figured I'd spend roughly about the same amount :o Not that I'm complaining, the very fact they ever gave me money this year was like /woah/
To be honest, I'm not a fan of sakura con on any level. It is just a chance for me to leave the country for a little while and forget about most of my duties. if anything I probably go for the dining and concerts. This year I wanted to see the sixh and 6% doki doki fashion show, NEITHER OF WHICH I GOT TO SEE LMAO.
anyways, back to school even though I was supposed to go today but fuck that I was way too tired.
first time I ever didn't go to school for a legit reason wow.
