i went to easter dinner at my mom's, texted mike a little (VERY exciting sidenote: he might be coming home in the beginning of july instead of end of august/beginning of september! one of briahna's--formerly known as christine--friends' boyfriend is in the same unit as mike and said they'll be home july 15...talked with natalie--formerly known as alyssa--and she said her dad said that some units are being shortened to 10 month tours!! fits perfectly with the timeline as the rest of his unit left september 12th!! YES!!...this was a really LONG sidenote...), and then came home, did laundry, and played...the sims.
yayyy!!!
so. i took one of the old maxis builds and turned it into 4 tiny apartments. the most expensive is like $800.
so this is the bigger apartment on the first floor. i didn't even take pictures of the second; it's pretty teeny and not worth showing haha.
i THINK it's playable...i'm like 90% sure i've played a house with this configuration ie: a double bed in a 3tile wide room.
apartments on second floor.
here's the first
only so many pictures of this tiny kitchen lol
second upstairs apartment...mostly in a studio style.
the bathroom is pretty boring so i didn't take any pictures. :)
here is a bird's eye view of the place so you can see the layout:
these are also good for a dorm-type setting. just change out the doors and voila.
i'm going to do some more house-to-apartment conversions, i think. i like them. :)
finished my calculus homework...friday. yeah. friday night and i was home, carefully doing my problem sets for my batshit-crazy-and-impossibly-anal calculus teacher.
so far, she's pretty simple to follow. of course, we've only done limits and average rates of change. the latter seems so simple. like i did it way back in the day.
*sigh*
i could be done with calculus by now if i hadn't a)slacked off in 8th grade because i was so impossibly bored with math that i'd been doing for years (private school education yyyeeeaaah!) and b)not gotten sick with mono my senior year. or freshman year of college...hmmm.
