Fun weekend!
Got to see Heidi from Homers - or at least she worked there with me a while back. She's leaving town next month. Super sad about that, but she's going to be happier.
Meeesha came and visited Friday night - so much fun hangin' with the Meeesh out there again. "What, what, what?!?" Thanks for coming girl, and thanks for getting Rowla (sp???) too. Haven't seen her in ages, super sweet.
Saturday morning Mike and I picked up Alex and went to Tina's for breakfast. Pretty nice little dive, but nobody beats the Hiway Diner's pancakes. Nobody. That's where we'll go next time me thinks.
Grant came down from Des Moines and stayed with us overnight on Saturday. Drank out in the garden and listened to some music while Mike and Grant bullshitted. Very chill.
Got to see Christianna TWICE. I like my time with Christianna, even better when lunching with the Sweets. Another "Yay" on the weekend list, the Sweets.
Yesterday after brunch, Mike and I snuggled up and watched, "Everything is Illuminated" (awesome film), took the dogs on a walk to the park and listened to a Lincoln Orchestra play cartoon songs, then came home and played four rounds of "Battle of the Bands" while watching some library rented documentaries.
Awesome weekend. Happiness.
