Benefit for Terrence Moore from Dirt Cheap Records!

Feb 09, 2007 09:48

If I could have a dollar for every minute I spent hanging out at Dirt Cheap records in Lincoln, a dollar for every great find there in the store, and dollar for every nice thing that Terrence has done for me, I'd be rich. And I know I'm not alone in this town.

Terrence is an icon, a man who has been involved in so many wonderful projects and institutions. He's always given himself away and I believe it's time for us to return the favor. He needs our help. He has a rare form of inoperable cancer and the bills are stacking up.

If you spent any time at all browsing through all the albums he had in stock in downtown Lincoln, if you listen to KZUM, or if you shop at Open Harvest, think about maybe helping him out. You can make a donation through the website or donate items of some value to the silent auction. Any bit will add into a bigger bit.

Thanks so much for anything you can do. Please pass the word on. Terrence has a lot of friends in this town. Let's show him just how many!!!
