God is in nights like these...
I needed a night like this....to just....chill.
Today was not very eventful. I woke up around 12:30. Ran. Showered. Laundry. Class. TV Station. Urban Dinner with Tim. Slept. Girl time.
TV Station - I had to floor manage today which was quite different than I had expected or what I was use to from DSOA. Fortuantly, I made it through alive but did not do the job anywhere near well. I need learning time. But possilby I should not have been pointing to camera one, when the director was yelling roll news one (the video)...hmm...luckily the diva anchors remained composure. I love Kevin the weather man. He thinks he's like God's gift to News 5. He's like 'well, the production team is genius!' (sarcastically, of course). I'm like hmm...if you only knew how much they make fun of you over the headset, punk. Venting.....complete.
Girl time- After awaking, I poured myself a glass of Fruit Punch Gatorade...grabbed my box of cheap Animal Crackers (which is now empty...opps) and plopped on the couch to watch countless episodes of Sex and the City with the Pilot hotties.
Two reminders from this experience. One - I am a complete girl. I gasp and aww at every relationship the episodes unfold...and involve myself so much in Charlotte, Miranda, Kerri and Samantha's emotions. Two- I am still a little girl at heart. Dang, I like punch and animal crackers. And cuddling with Tabs on the couch. And being grumpy when I awake.
It's nice to be able to relax.
