God is in rockin revelations....
Wow...so I was reminded tonight of how much I love God! God is good. And tonight my heart was just re-opened to His grace and amazing love.
We went down to the concert at the Social Pavillion...a bunch of kids from the BCM - it was tara, me, katie, adam, buck, clifton, courtney, kallie, ashley. But, yea...we went to the Social - which was outside. We were freezing. And then the show started...
Name Taken was ok. MAE ROCKED. I finally got a Mae is for Lovers t-shirt and I am way excited to sport the love for one of my fav. bands. They were awesome. And Tara and I left the group and jumped our way to the front. The pit for Mae was growing rather large...we were pushing, jumping...going crazy. Then as the crowd leaned forward - and then leaned back a row of girls, like dominoes fell onto the ground. Tara and I were in the pile. Ouch.
Mae played my song last....Soundtrack for Our Movie. <3
Then Relient K came on and they were a-maz-ing as usual. It was the 3rd time I have seen them, but the first for their new CD. In addition, we were the first crowd to ever hear their new CD in concert. That's cool. We were the first stop on their 'Be My Valen-tour'. yay.
We were extremely close to the stage. The girl next to us, Katie, got a drumstick from Mae..um yea, we were way close. And we were having a blast moshing and jumping. I have too many bruises right now...
listening to the song "I am understood" - it was so nice. I was totally reminded of how God completely understands and loves me and appreciates me. I was reminded of how he thinks "my thoughts are so simple but so beautiful..."
after the show we walked around downtown o-town. then we came back to the social and met matt from rk. it was sweet. we talked to him and i had him sign my tickets and stuff.
steak and shake was yummy. but now i am tired...and need to wake up for church soon. much love to all.
