Nearly done...

This week...[technically a new week but I've slept so little the weeks begin to mash together] has been heavily involved. I've neglected myself a great deal to get my stuff finished on time and for the most part I'm done.

What was the price?
5 nights of maybe 3 hours sleep at most
5 infuriating visits to Kinkos [although some of the staff were so wonderful they made up for it]
4+ friends snubbed for lack of time [sorry about that--but I can be social now]
2 iron burns...don't ask
$200+ spent on printing and book making
$100+ spent on take out
4 days straight of "hat hair"...basically didn't have time to do it
Hours upon hours of movie and tv watching--both to keep me awake and keep me company
A massive pile of dirty dishes
A incredibly disorderly and dirty room
And countless energy drinks consumed...in fact I think I'm immune to caffeine now.

So far it's been worth it. My portfolio (in it's PDF form) is done. But I'm not quite done yet...

What's left to do?
Assemble my physical book for myself and three mini books.
Create and order business cards
Design and upload my website...not to mention buy a domain.
Create some sort of leave-behind.

Yeah that last one's an advertising world thing only. Basically the interviewee [i.e. me] is expected to leave the interviewer with something to remind them/get them to think of you. I've struggled with this one a bit, because I want them to get some use out of it but also make sure they don't ignore that I'm the person behind it.

So ideas:
1. Cloud shaped cookies [my logo is a person with their head in the clouds] in a nicely designed box with my info at the bottom and on the outer sticker.
2. Mini blank journals with my logo stenciled or printed on the back and a nice design on the front.
3. Customizeable greeting cards [where you can pick or choose your images].

Any suggestions?
