Being broke is lame...
...being unsocial is even more lame (but usual a result of being broke).
And paying people to go somewhere with you is the lamest of all.
Sigh.
But the fact of the matter is that I'm lacking a surplus of money. I'm also lacking a surplus of friends [or at least friends who like to do the things I like to do]. So that is often why I stay at home to watch movies or drink my booze...as I don't have to pay extra for them things.
But sometimes I really want to go out and have fun [especially when it's things I like (conventions, concerts, etc). And all I can think is...I must go--at least once! And then I think, I will pay for you--my dear chum--as I'd rather not go alone. But then I end up feeling sort of pathetic--like I had to buy your company.
Alas...what can a girl do?
