I'm ignoring the caucusi (would that be plural?) with good reason.

We bought front loaders today.

I am going to try to find a picture... *wait for it, wait for it*

 BAM.

That's the dryer. But you get the gist. They're that color, midnight blue, and I'm in love with them. They're ridiculously energy efficient-- 6-10 gallons of water per use VS. the 30-40 gallons we're currently using with our top loaders.

One of my special projects for our house... I want to replace all of our energy suckers with newer energy efficient models. I also want to install one of the solar panels that's actually integrated into a roof/shingles. It even looks like shingles. 20k investment up front, but you get a mad tax write off for it. Plus it pays for itself over 10 years depending on the area of the country you live in.

I like the idea of being off the grid. I also researched this wind turbine that I saw on HGTV the other day, it's incredible-- but also a hefty investment up front. 10-15k depending on the size. The customer review I read claimed it's author was paying, on average, $8 per electricity bill. INCREDIBLE.

I got my first, "you look like you've lost weight" today from the mother in law. Made me feel good, but at the same time I've never been comfortable with those statements. They're such Catch 22s.

Anyway. I'm wholeheartedly supporting Obama. Just in case you were wondering. I might be the only one who would see this, but he has a JFK air to him. I love his charisma, and his genuine way of speaking to issues. I feel as if he could make a difference.

Let's take a second to be very vicious and breakdown the Republican nominees... don't fault me for this.

You could have:
a. a POW who might or might not be suffering from some very long standing mental INSTABILITIES.
b. a mormon. Enough said.
c. a crazy eyed evangelical who bears a disturbing likeness to a certain chipmunk of internet fame.

Seriously people.

The world is not ready for the ice queen who IS Hillary Clinton.
