This vid was really inspired by Tumblr. It's been a strange fannish month, with the downs of Glee and the ups of Supernatural and then the waiting, on the waiting (And don't get me started on the trauma of Downton Abbey, but that's tangential...) But through it all, I've been turning to tumblr and continually brought out of whatever crankiness by the constant flow of creativity there. Really, my last vid too, though so different in style than this one, was also inspired by Tumblr. That one was inspired by the simple images and gifs that just distill and capture a moment. This one is much more about the beautiful layering and text that create these amazing little expressive multilayered moments. I tried to do the vid version of that--to bring together text and image in a way that gets at what Castiel might be thinking and also what we may all be feeling about the ongoing rollercoaster of Supernatural.
