(no subject)
It's Friday. Thank goodness, it's been a hell of a week. But Positives nonetheless...
1. Barney (my L'il car) had his MOT today. He passed (yay!) The mechanic told me that he needed a new brake light to pass, and also that there was a nail in the tyre - so I agreed that they could fix that too. When I went to collect (and pay) - they told me that the nail hadn't damaged anything, so no charge for removing it. MOT sorted for £40. I like.
2. I managed to get the report that was seriously overdue completed. I also managed to speak to my counterpart in the prison who has been trying to contact me and I've not had chance to get back to her, which has left her lumbered with a grumpy offender - and by apologising/grovelling(!) and being nice, managed to get her to like me and to help out with some stuff. I think the fact I owned up to just being too damned busy to get stuff done rather than making excuses helped.
3. Someone phoned up the office today and made a mistake with my name, asking for "Jodie Marsh" instead of the real me (!)
4. It's Lewis night.
5. And H50/Pretty McDanno night.
6. Went out for a meal with Mum and friend P and it was good.
7. The Moon is HUGE tonight, has a quizzical face and is beautiful.
